The Armas de Guerra Rosado comes from the Bierzo region in northwestern Spain. It is made from the Mencia grape variety, which is cultivated exclusively in northwestern and central Spain. The wine is a light cherry-red in the glass. On the nose, it offers lovely notes of wildflowers and lavender in particular, underpinned by aromas of ripe red fruit. The palate is characterised by mineral notes and an abundance of fruit. A light spice in combination with a raspberry-like sweetness make the Armas de Guerra Rosado a silky, lively wine.

This is a lovely, uncomplicated summer and terrace wine that also goes beautifully with light salads.

After pressing, the grapes were aged in stainless steel tanks for 20 days. This wine, in which freshness and fruitiness predominate, can be enjoyed young. The Armas de Guerra Mencia Tinto is cherry-red in the glass, with deep purple glints. The nose is dominated by aromas of red and black fruit. The intense bouquet is complemented by earthy notes and a hint of balsamico. The Armas de Guerra Mencia Tinto is harmonious and clear on the palate. Beim Protos Rosado steht die Fruchtigkeit klar im Vordergrund. Herrliche Noten von Erdbeeren, getrockneter Brombeere und Süßkirsche lassen sich in der Nase als auch am Gaumen feststellen.Wie von einem Premiumerzeuger aus dem Ribera del Duero nicht anders zu erwarten, stellt schon der Rosado die ganze Kompetenz des spanischen Weingutes dar. Der aus der Rebsorte Tempranillo hergestellte Rosado hat durch eine 16-stündige Kaltmazeration die rebsortentypischen Aromen zu voller Entfaltung gebracht. Die Farbe ist intensiv rosa und der Geschmack frisch und sehr fruchig, schön ausgeglichen, aber nicht langweilig. Die feine Frucht-Säure Kombination verleiht dem Portos Rosado genug Kraft und Volumen um mit viel Körper und Ausgeglichenheit die Geschmacksnerven zu verwöhnen.Der Protos Rosado lässt sich uneingeschränkt zu vielen Wurstspezialitäten empfehlen, auch zu Eintöpfen auf Basis von Bohnen oder Linsen eine hervorragende Wahl. Selbst Kalbs- oder Lammkoteletts gegrillt oder gebraten begleitet der trockene Roséwein ausgezeichnet.
