Die Ernte findet immer nachts statt. Um die Eigenschaften der Trauben zu bewahren, werden traditionelle Techniken mit modernen Maschinen kombiniert.Im Glas zeigt sich der Mantel Blanco strohgelb mit grünen Reflexen. Das Bouquet hat angenehme Aromen von Kernobst und Zitrusfrüchten, wobei die Zitrusfrüchte im Hintergrund mitspielen. Geschmacklich weist dieser Wein eine außerordentliche Eleganz und Ausdrucksstärke vor.Der Weißwein aus Spanien dient super als Aperitif, kann aber auch zu Gemüse und Salat, Reis und Fisch oder Meeresfrüchten bei einer empfohlenen Trinktemperatur von 8-10 °C getrunken werden.

The Valmoro Rueda Verdejo from the Álvarez y Díez winery is an authentic wine from the Rueda region in Spain. In the high altitudes of the Rueda region, there are significant temperature differences between day and night. This gives the vines a good balance between sugar and acidity. To emphasize the fruit, the harvest takes place at night. This allows fermentation to begin in the coolest possible conditions.In the glass, the dry Spanish white wine shines bright yellow. The bouquet has intense aromas of lime, pear, pineapple and fennel. There are also notes of freshly cut grass and aniseed. On the palate, Álvarez y Díez Valmoro Rueda Verdejo is lively and balanced with an unobtrusive minerality and notes of ripe citrus fruits. The Valmoro Verdejo 6 Meses en Barrica from the Alvarez y Diez winery is produced according to the principle of "understanding wine as a work of art, from the earth to the glass". The winery is located in the Spanish wine-growing region of Rueda, in a hilly landscape at an altitude of 600 to 800 meters. The gravelly soils give the wine its typical mineral notes. The region's microclimate allows the grapes to be harvested in the cool morning hours, which preserves the natural acidity and fresh fruit aromas of the Verdejo.The white wine matures for six months in barriques, which gives it a harmonious depth, subtle wood tones and a balanced acidity/alcohol ratio. Before release, the wine is left to mature in the bottle to fully develop its aromas.In the glass, the Valmoro Verdejo 6 Meses en Barrica is a bright straw yellow. Intense aromas of lime, pear, pineapple and fennel unfold on the nose, complemented by green herbs and subtle toasted oak. On the palate, the wine presents itself with ripe tropical fruit, fresh acidity and mineral notes, accompanied by balanced oak flavors. Anima Negra AN 2022

The AN has earned the reputation of being one of Spain’s showcase wines within an impressively short period of time. The winemaker Anima Negra deliberately decided to cultivate grape varieties indigenous to Mallorca. The grapes for its outstanding wines come from vines that are more than 80 years old. This blend, consisting mainly of Callet and a smaller percentage of Manto Negro, offers notes of dark fruit (cassis, black cherries), tobacco, mocha, black pepper and vanilla in its fascinatingly multi-faceted bouquet, along with roast aromas. On the palate, the red wine is full-bodied and velvety, showing a charming structure, a great density, wonderfully integrated tannins and a long, fresh finish.The Anima Negra AN matured for 17 to 19 months in new French oak casks. This outstanding red wine, produced by Anima Negra, offers intense notes of red berries in its bouquet, along with fine wood aromas and nuances of vanilla. The AN 2 is wonderfully fleshy, sumptuous and very fruity on the palate, with a lovely spice and an extremely long finish.It matured for 12 months in barriques (70% made of French and 30% made of American oak), of which 35% were new and 65% were barrels with a maximum of three fillings. Dieser Crianza vom jungen Weingut Pago de la Jaraba duftet nach frischen Beeren, Eukalyptus und einer feinen Würze. Hinzu kommen die angenehmen Holztöne. Am Gaumen ist dieser Tempranillo weich und elegant. Der rubinrote Wein aus der La Mancha-Region ist ein Blend aus weit überwiegend Tempranillo und kleineren Anteilen Cabernet Sauvignon und Merlot. 10 Monate wurde er in französischer und amerikanischer Eiche ausgebaut, wobei hauptsächlich amerikanische Eiche zum Einsatz kam.

The Barrica Monastrell Syrah comes from the Barahonda winery in the Spanish wine-growing region of Yecla. The blend consists of 75% Monastrell and 25% Syrah. The vines of this red wine are 40 to 45 years old and grow on calcareous soils at an altitude of between 500 and 800 meters. The Barahonda Barrica Monastrell Syrah has a ruby red color that shines bright and clear in the glass. The nose reveals an intense bouquet of ripe fruit, spices, light vanilla notes and some cedar wood. A strong minerality dominates the palate. A wine full of juice and power with notes of pepper and cloves. Matured in French and American oak barrels for a period of around 6 months, the finish is strong and round with a taste of vanilla and some leather.Try the Barahonda Barrica Monastrell Syrah with roast poultry, minced steak or paella.
