Mauro Cosecha Tinto is the entry-level wine from Bodegas Mauro, although to speak of entry-level here is actually completely wrong. In terms of quality, this red wine brings maximum enjoyment to the glass. Bodegas Mauro has been known for its consistently high quality for many years. The wine, which consists of 80% Tempranillo and small proportions of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, clearly stands out from the multitude of wines from Spain. This is evidenced by the many annual awards it receives from wine critics. In the glass, it is an almost impenetrable purple red. The nose is incredibly concentrated and the Mauro Cosecha Tinto smells wonderfully of black fruits and exotic spices. The palate is endowed with clear primary notes and precise tannins. A wonderfully refined, polished wine that impresses with its mineral notes and rich fruit aromas. As winemaker Mariano Garcia describes it, the special feature of this wine is its remarkable freshness combined with a supple feel.Aged for 15 months in French and American oak, the Mauro Cosecha Tinto not only has a long finish, but also expresses its longevity.

The grapes are selected according to strict criteria. Alcoholic fermentation using selected yeast takes 10 to 18 days. Bodegas Olarra Cerro Anon Crianza Rioja DOC 2022

The Bodegas Olarra Cerro Añón Crianza Rioja DOC is an uncomplicated, well-balanced Rioja Crianza that combines fruit, spice and soft tannins.Made from Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano. The grapes come from chalky soils in Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Alta, from vines with an average age of 20 years.After manual harvesting, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15-16 days. One third matures in new French and American oak barrels, the remaining two thirds in concrete tanks. The wine is then matured for 14-15 months in 225-liter barrels. After bottling, the wine remains in the bottle for at least seven months.In the glass, the Bodegas Olarra Cerro Añón Crianza Rioja DOC is a deep purple red with fresh raspberry aromas. Spicy notes, soft tannins and a long, harmonious finish unfold on the palate.This red wine goes well with grilled meat, roast pork, poultry or tapas. Serve at 16-18 °C.

Danach wurde der Wein auf die Flasche gefüllt und lagerte 45 Monate bevor er in den Handel kam.
