Groot Constantia’s Sauvignon Blanc comes from the renowned Constantia wine region in the Western Cape and impressively reflects the long tradition of this South African winery. The interplay of the Mediterranean climate, cool Atlantic breezes, and granite-rich soils creates optimal conditions and gives the wine its characteristic freshness and complexity.

The grapes are hand-harvested in the higher-altitude vineyards and gently processed. After temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the white wine ages on its fine lees for six months. This gives it structure and depth without losing its lively fruitiness and elegance.

On the nose, intense aromas of tropical fruits, guava, and fresh citrus notes unfold. On the palate, juicy nuances of lemon and lime are accompanied by a delicate minerality and a harmonious, well-integrated acidity. Its full-bodied character and long finish lend this South African Sauvignon Blanc additional depth and finesse.
