Diemersdal Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

The Diemersdal Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is an elegant cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the Diemersdal winery in the Western Cape. The grapes ripen on exposed northern slopes in red Hutton soils, under the influence of cool Atlantic breezes, which gives them intense fruit and fine structure.

After being harvested by hand, the grapes are vinified separately and then matured for eight months in French oak, developing velvety tannins and a harmonious depth.

In the glass, the red wine presents itself with aromas of cherries, mulberries and dark chocolate, powerful and elegant on the palate with a long, soft finish.

The Diemersdal Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot goes perfectly with grilled dishes, spicy poultry or roast pork. Serve at 16-18 °C to enjoy the full variety of flavors.

Steenberg Five Lives Red Blend
