On the palate, the Manz Leidenschaft Grauburgunder is dense and mineral, typical of this Manz creation from very stony, chalky vineyards. The white wine is wonderfully elegant and lingers on the palate.The Manz family of winegrowers, who have received many national and international awards, use 30% wood for the ageing of this Pinot Gris, using tonneaux barrels with a volume of 500 liters. The Manz Leidenschaft Pauline Frühburgunder is a rare specialty from the renowned Manz winery in Rheinhessen. Notes of blackberries and blackcurrants characterize the bouquet of this wine. This dry red wine from Rheinhessen is a rare Frühburgunder creation, a grape variety that was almost extinct. It originated from a natural mutation of the Spätburgunder. Frühburgunder is ready for harvest around two weeks earlier than Spätburgunder, hence the name. On the palate, the Manz Leidenschaft Pauline Frühburgunder is full-bodied, soft and wonderfully harmonious, with beautiful fruitiness and spice.The Frühburgunder matures for 12 months in large oak barrels. Enjoy this fine red wine, which is named after the winemaker's daughter, at a drinking temperature of 16 to 18 degrees. It is a good accompaniment to veal fillet with spicy rosemary potatoes or to a Comté, the hard raw milk cheese from Franche-Comté, the area in the east of France that is part of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Comté cheese can be compared to Swiss Gruyère cheese, but with a much milder and fruitier taste.

Noten von Stachelbeeren, Cassis, Kiwi und Holunder prägen das Bouquet des Manz Leidenschaft Sauvignon Blanc Kalkstein, dazu kommt eine unterschwellige Kräuterwürze.Am Gaumen ist dieser trockene Weißwein, dessen Trauben auf Kalkmergelboden mit hohem Kalksteinanteil heranreiften, wunderbar mineralisch, mit großer Eleganz und einer perfekt integrierten Säure.In drei Qualitätsstufen sind die Weine von Manz unterteilt: Die Linien heißen Handwerk, Leidenschaft und Faszination. Wohl nur wenige Weingüter können von sich behaupten, so sehr für diese Begriffe zu stehen wie das Weingut Manz aus Weinolsheim aus dem Kreis Mainz-Bingen, etwa 25 Kilometer südlich von Mainz gelegen. Es hat eine Geschichte, die bis in die Anfänge des 18. Jahrhunderts zurückreicht.Der im Edelstahltank ausgebaute Sauvignon Blanc leuchtet im Glas strohgelb mit grünlich schimmernden Reflexen.
