Manz Passion Scheurebe Kalkstein dry

Intense notes of gooseberries and blackcurrants, nuances of lychee and floral tones characterize the bouquet of the Manz Leidenschaft Scheurebe Kalkstein. The brilliant light yellow shimmering white wine from Rheinhessen is wonderfully juicy on the palate, with a very fine sweetness and beautiful spiciness, piquant and mineral. This Manz creation also offers a great mineral acidity structure.

The wine, grown on limestone soil with a high limestone content, was matured in stainless steel tanks. The Manz winery, which has received numerous national and international awards, is the 9th generation to cultivate its vineyards in Rheinhessen. The winemaking family knows how to get the best out of the outstanding vineyards year after year.

The Manz Leidenschaft Scheurebe Kalkstein was no different. The trade magazine Wein+Markt awarded this white wine first place in the dry category at the 6th International Scheurebe Prize.

Another outstanding Manz wine from Weinholsheim. Enjoy it at a drinking temperature of 8-10 °C with wok vegetables with fish or asparagus variations. It is also the perfect accompaniment to melon with Parma ham. And of course it is also a delight to drink on its own as a well-chilled aperitif.

Manz Handwerk Rosé Dry
The Manz Handwerk Lustspiel Rosé has a wonderfully fresh, fruity aroma of strawberries, raspberries, and cherries. Served well-chilled, it’s an approachable delight that enhances carefree spring and summer moments on the balcony, patio, or in the garden. On the palate, this cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Dornfelder is dry, with subtle spice and a delicate, tangy acidity. This Rosé from Rheinhessen, aged in stainless steel tanks, is part of the “Handwerk” line from the Manz Winery. The winery offers its consistently award-winning creations in three quality tiers: the lines are called “Handwerk,” “Leidenschaft,” and “Faszination.” And there are probably very few wineries that can claim to embody these concepts as fully as the ninth-generation Manz Winery in Weinolsheim, located in the Mainz-Bingen district, about 25 kilometers south of Mainz. The ideal serving temperature for this dry rosé wine from Rheinhessen is 8 to 10 degrees. Try this radiant ruby-red creation—made from grapes that ripened on clay-marl and loess soils—with salmon (how about, for example, a rillette, a type of spread, pasta dishes with scampi, or a salad with shrimp). The Manz Handwerk Lustspiel Rosé is also a great choice with grilled chicken.
