Thanks to its lovely, fruity acidity, this Riesling from the wine-growing area on the Moselle is zesty and clear on the palate with a piquant minerality. The Ockfener Bockstein vineyard extends over approximately 124 acres located in the Trier-Saarburg district, along the Ockfener Bach, a tributary of the Saar. Here as well, slate soils are predominant. The Riesling from the Markus Molitor estate matured in large wooden casks.
