Winery Trenz Johannisberg Alte Reben Riesling dry

The Trenz Johannisberg Alte Reben Riesling shows the best of the estate's grapes. Not only do the grapes come from 65-year-old vines, but the selective hand-picking also ensures that only the best material is used.

On the nose, the white wine has aromas of tropical fruits such as mango and orange. There is also a scent of Mediterranean herbs and mineral notes. On the palate, the Trenz Johannisberg Alte Reben is firm and juicy with slightly sweet fruit. The lively acidity wonderfully incorporates floral and yeasty tones. The wine has a complex structure and creates a variety of taste experiences. The finish is taut and persistent with a slight sweetness.

An excellent accompaniment to spicy pasta or other hot dishes.

Weingut Trenz

Weingut Trenz Johannisberg Riesling Kabinett feinherb
The grapes for the Trenz Riesling Kabinett feinherb (off-dry) come from the renowned Johannisberg vineyard, where the grapes can be left longer on the vines than in regions at lower altitudes. This enables the grapes to reach a higher must weight, resulting in more intense sweetness and a finer acidity. The slope gradient of more than 30% also ensures more intense ripening of the grapes. The Trenz Johannisberg Riesling Kabinett feinherb (off-dry) is redolent of ripe pears and blood oranges, offering slightly peppery notes. It is juicy and fresh on the palate, showing aromas of peach and passion fruit. The finish is characterised by lovely mineral notes. The off-dry Johannisberg Riesling Kabinett from the Trenz estate goes beautifully with seafood and light salads.
