Print product information sheet

The Johannisberger Hölle is the highest vineyard of the Trenz winery. The grapes for the Sweet Symphony Riesling restsüss (residual sweetness) come from this vineyard, which is characterised by two special features. One is the soil that consists of Taunus quartzite and loess, and the other is the thermal winds that blow all year round, keeping the grapes dry and healthy.

The vines are more than 50 years old and generate low yields but grapes of high quality. The Trenz Sweet Symphony Riesling restsüss offers pleasant notes of lychee and hibiscus. On the palate, the wine shows aromas of wild honey and milk chocolate. The excellent fruit and the marvellous residual sweetness unite in a unique taste experience. Try the Trenz Sweet Symphony Riesling restsüss with spicy Thai cuisine to experience a splendid synergy.

Weingut Trenz Johannisberg Riesling Kabinett feinherb
The grapes for the Trenz Riesling Kabinett feinherb (off-dry) come from the renowned Johannisberg vineyard, where the grapes can be left longer on the vines than in regions at lower altitudes. This enables the grapes to reach a higher must weight, resulting in more intense sweetness and a finer acidity. The slope gradient of more than 30% also ensures more intense ripening of the grapes. The Trenz Johannisberg Riesling Kabinett feinherb (off-dry) is redolent of ripe pears and blood oranges, offering slightly peppery notes. It is juicy and fresh on the palate, showing aromas of peach and passion fruit. The finish is characterised by lovely mineral notes.
