Nik Weis - St. Urbans-Hof

Dry, black and gray slate forms the basis of this dry Riesling from the windery Dönnhoff in Rhineland-Palatinate. This full-bodied Riesling has a fine minerality, is wonderfully fruity and offers a wonderful acidity.Especially the slopes of the vineyard called Leistenberg, located in a small valley of the Nahe near Oberhausen are marked by slate-soils. This is where most characterful Rieslings grow, which bear the name of the special soil. The Tonschiefer Dönnhoff Riesling comes from vines that are between 25 and 30 years old. The grapes were harvested to 100% by hand. The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks and large oak casks, which explains the beautiful complexity of this white wine.

San Marzano Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria DOP
Whether it is the dark color or the concentrated taste, the San Marzano Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria is intense. It is almost black in the glass with ruby red reflections. It is full and soft on the palate, with hints of black cherry. This intense taste experience leads to a lingering finish. For optimum enjoyment, serve this semi-dry red wine at a drinking temperature of 18 °C. It harmonizes wonderfully with game such as saddle of venison or venison steak. It is also a tasty accompaniment to fruity stuffed duck or a terrine. Also available as a 1.5l magnum bottle.
