The grapes for the Trenz Riesling Kabinett feinherb (off-dry) come from the renowned Johannisberg vineyard, where the grapes can be left longer on the vines than in regions at lower altitudes. This enables the grapes to reach a higher must weight, resulting in more intense sweetness and a finer acidity. The slope gradient of more than 30% also ensures more intense ripening of the grapes. The Trenz Johannisberg Riesling Kabinett feinherb (off-dry) is redolent of ripe pears and blood oranges, offering slightly peppery notes. It is juicy and fresh on the palate, showing aromas of peach and passion fruit. The finish is characterised by lovely mineral notes. The vines for the Trenz Steinhaus Riesling grow on soils that are interspersed with Taunus quartzite. Below the 4 inches of topsoil, the ground has very high rock content, giving the wine its incredible minerality. On the nose, the wine offers rather cool, discreet fragrances. Aromas of apples, grapefruit and black pepper unite with herbal, floral notes. The Trenz Steinhaus is juicy and soft on the palate, showing almost sweet fruit. The fine acidity is complemented by a fresh lemon aroma, while the finish is characterised by multi-layered traces of minerals. This is a wonderfully vinified Riesling, marvellously presenting the finesse of the 40-year-old vines.

Der Riesling QbA trocken "M.P." von Karl Pfaffmann aus der Pfalz ist ein feinfruchtiger und mineralischer Weißwein. Das Weingut setzt auf nachhaltige Pflege der Böden und diese Sorgfalt spiegelt sich in den Weinen. Frische Äpfel, Ananas und ein Hauch Zitrone sind die charakteristischen Noten dieses Rieslings. Dazu gesellen sich die sortentypische Mineralität und eine feine Kräuternote.Der Wein ist lebendig und hat doch einen kräftigen Körper. Es findet sich eine dezente Süße und ein starkes Rückgrat.
