Der Salentein Barrel Selection Malbec Magnum ist von intensivem und leicht purpurnem Rot. Die Nase ist komplex und duftend, mit einem Fruchtkorb voll roter Früchte, schwarzen Beeren und leicht floralen Noten. Der Gaumen wird sanft umspielt mit erneut viel Frucht und einer delikaten Süße. Der Abgang ist lang und sehr mild.Dieser Malbec in der Magnumflasche ist fruchtig frisch und von schöner Intensität. Er sollte bei 16 Grad genossen werden und passt zu Gegrilltem, Rind, Lamm oder Käse. Auch mit Wild bildet er eine traumhafte Kombination. The Numina Gran Corte from Argentina’s prestigious Salentein estate is part of the premium range of the winery, and thus simultaneously one of the best Argentine wines. At Salentein, the decades of expertise of oenologist Jose Galante, a perfect terroir, a bold approach to innovation, and substantial investment in its cellars and technology complement each other to create an extremely fruitful environment from which wines like the Numina emerge.Only the best Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes are united to compose this unique blend. The Malbec variety, which is predominant in this wine, is the most widely established vine in Argentina. The grapes come from the Uco Valley in Mendoza, located at the foot of the Andes. The vines grow in vineyards at an altitude of up to 1,700 metres and benefit from lots of sun during the day and cooler temperatures at night. They are watered by the pure meltwater from the Andes.The Salentein Numina Gran Corte is a light, very intense crimson in colour. Salentein Primus Malbec 2022

Am Gaumen ist dieser reinsortige Malbec üppig und zugleich elegant, mit einer tollen Komplexität. Süßliche Tannine, typisch für Malbec, eine gute Struktur und große Balance ergeben ein perfektes Zusammenspiel. Die große Frische, seine beerige und kräuterige Aromentiefe sowie die angenehme Mineralität machen den Salentein Primus Malbec zu einem Geschmackserlebnis. Das Finale klingt lange nach. Auch James Suckling hat der Jahrgang 2018 überzeugt, er vergibt 92 Punkte. Dieser in limitierter Auflage kreierte Rotwein wird nur in Jahren produziert, in denen die Qualität der Trauben den Ansprüchen genügt, die mit einem Primus Malbec verbunden sind. Der Rotwein reifte für 18 Monate in französischen Eichenfässern, im Anschluss 12 Monate in der Flasche in den Kellern des Weingutes. Wir empfehlen, diesen Malbec aus dem Uco-Tal in der Mendoza-Region 30 bis 60 Minuten vor dem Trinkgenuss zu dekantieren. Die ideale Trinktemperatur liegt bei 16 Grad. Der tief violett-rote Wein ist ein toller Begleiter zu rotem Fleisch, kräftigem Käse sowie Gerichten, bei denen Saucen mit Zwiebeln oder mit schwarzem Pfeffer gereicht werden.Den Salentein Primus Malbec können Sie problemlos für 10 Jahre lagern.

San Vicente Rioja DOCa - Elegant Tempranillo red wine with depth and structureSince 1991, oenologist Marcos Eguren, scion of a long-established winegrowing family in Rioja, has been producing this grape juice, which is limited to around 60,000 bottles a year. His San Vincente is the modern version of a premium Rioja that combines the best of all Spanish wine worlds. How is this to be understood? The San Vincente preserves the traditions and classic virtues of a Rioja by being aged for 20 months in wooden barrels (90% French and 10% American oak) and then bottled unfiltered. The wine is therefore guaranteed to keep for a long time. However, Marcos Eguren goes far beyond this in his approach to creating a modern and qualitatively outstanding wine; he focuses on a more fruit-driven style than is usual in Rioja.Not just any vines are used, but the noble variety of Tempranillo, namely Tempranillo Peludo, from the company's own 18-hectare Finca la Canoca vineyard, which is located on the best clay and limestone terroir. The grapes are hand-selected twice to ensure that only the best grapes make it into the wine.It is also striking that the wine is vinified with such precision and high quality that vintage fluctuations are hardly noticeable. Every year, the San Vincente is a top-class Rioja with an exceptionally good price-performance ratio.A deep, dark red color greets the eye of the wine connoisseur.
