The Barón de Ley Gran Reserva comes from the Rioja region of Spain. This wine from the Barón de Ley winery is characterized by its beautiful aromatic intensity and smooth character. Gran Reserva is without doubt one of the "great classics" of international wine styles. This red wine is made mainly from the Tempranillo grape and to a lesser extent from the Graciano grape.In the glass, the Barón de Ley Gran Reserva is ruby red with light brick-red reflections. Barón de Ley Reserva Is made from grapes coming from our own vineyards in Mendavia (Rioja Baja). The climate in this part of Rioja, with clear Mediterranean influence, provides excellent maturations which, combined with a low yield viticulture (5.000 kgrs/Ha. aproximately), result in modern Riojas with a “mediterranean soul”; wines with combine remarkable power with the elegance and harmony that have always been characteristic of the Rioja wines. The wine was aged for 20 months in new american oak casks, and afterwards 24 months in bottle until arriving to its ideal moment for enjoyment. This wine has not been submitted to filterings or artificial stabilizations, which might result in the appearance of natural sediments in the bottle.With an attractive red ruby coulour with medium-high intensity, in the nose it suprises for a powerful fruit remarkably blended with traces from its noble ageing: coconut and toffee, evolving into seductive nuances of spices and mediterranean bush. The attack is truly powerful and develops in the mouth a pleasant sensation of volume and onctuosity with drives us to a long finish, nervous and fresh due to its optimum acidity, and bringing back an aftertaste with red fruits and again mediterranean bushes.

Be Solo DO 2019

It is not always clear at first glance what exactly is behind a wine. This is also the case with Sei Solo. Javier Zaccagnini, former founder and owner of the famous Bodegas Aalto, founded his personal project in 2007. He bought around 3 hectares of vineyards near his favorite village of La Horra in the Ribera del Duero region. His aim was to bring the finesse and elegance of the Ribera del Duero into his wines, without the wines losing their backbone and tannin structure. Javier Zaccagnini is a lover of classical music and particularly admires Johann Sebastian Bach. He derived the name for his wines from the six sonatas for violin and obbligato harpsichord (Sei Sounate à Cembalo certato è Violino Solo).Sei Solo is a top-class Spanish red wine that is dark purple-red in the glass. The nose reveals particularly aromatic fruit notes of plum and blackberry. The wine smells of Mediterranean herbs, cocoa and subtle roasted aromas. A hint of licorice completes the whole. On the palate, Sei Solo is powerful and complex, with an exceptional freshness that you would not expect from such a wine. The balance between velvety tannins and rich fruit characterizes the mouthfeel.Elegant and full of finesse, Sei Solo pairs wonderfully with lasagne, mature cheese, lamb and braised dishes.

The Benguela Cove Vinography Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Walker Bay region in South Africa, which is known for its temperate, cool climate. The vineyards lie on the shores of a lagoon that stretches out to the cold Atlantic Ocean. The foliage is tended with the utmost care so that the grapes can enjoy the cool afternoon sun.This is a confident Cabernet Sauvignon with the typical aromas of blackcurrant, dried herbs, fynbos, salty licorice and a hint of leather. A seamless balance between fruit and acidity, underpinned by polished tannins. Ripe red fruits on the nose, which continue on the palate. Sweet notes of violets and a hint of dried vanilla pods with nuances of tobacco and dried tomato leaves add to the complexity of this elegant wine. Benjamin de Beauregard Pomerol 2020

Die Familien Moulin und Cathiard haben 2014 Beauregard übernommen und die Qualität nochmals auf ein höheres Niveau gehoben. Dem Benjamin de Beauregard kommt dabei bei der Weinbereitung die selbe Sorgfalt zu, wie dem Grand Vin. Die Ernte wird auf Beauregard vollständig manuell ausgeführt. Der Benjamin wird im Holzfass ausgebaut, mit 30% Neufassanteil. Er ist von rubinroter Farbe. Die Nase umschmeicheln milde Düfte von dunklen Kirschen, Paprika, Karamell, Pflaumen und Kräutern. Am Gaumen überwiegen vor allem die Früchte und die feine Struktur imponiert. Der Abgang ist ebenfalls durch dunkle Früchte charakterisiert. Der Wein zeigt eine schöne Balance und Ausgeglichenheit. Er ist jetzt bereits nach etwas dekantieren trinkreif, bleibt aber durchaus noch 8 Jahren auf dem Höhepunkt. Köstlich in Kombination mit rotem Fleisch, Wildgerichten und Käse.

The Beyerskloof Eerste Ry Cabernet Sauvignon is an outstanding red wine from the prestigious Beyerskloof Winery in Stellenbosch, South Africa. "Eerste Ry" means "first row" and thus describes the type of grapes that come from the first plantings on the winery. Beyerskloof and Pinotage are the perfect combination in South Africa. Anri Truter, owner and winemaker at Beyerskloof, has long been known as South Africa's Mister Pinotage.
