This intense garnet-red Batasiolo Barolo DOCG impresses with its intense and complex bouquet. Notes of sweet fruit (ripe cherries, ripe plums) are combined with floral tones (roses) and a great spiciness (wild herbs). Nuances of fresh truffles also enrich the bouquet. On the palate, the Batasiolo Barolo is wonderfully harmonious, deep and dense. Fine-grained tannins, animating freshness and alcohol content in great balance. The beautiful fruity sweetness, the powerful structure and the polished, lingering finish round off the taste experience.

The pure Nebbiolo from the hills of the Barolo region in Piedmont in northern Italy was matured for two years in oak barrels. This red wine from Italy is another impressive example of the Dogliani family's winemaking skills. With its vineyards in the best locations in the Barolo region, the family has built up an excellent reputation as a producer of high-quality wines since the late 1970s.
