The history of Château Chasse-Spleen dates back to the 16. century. The vineyard is part of the Haut-Médoc, the world-famous wineregion in the south-west of France. L’Héritage de Chasse-Spleen de Chasse-Spleen is the second wine of Château Chasse-Spleen. This blend consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc und Petit Verdot. The wine has a deep purple colour. On the nose impressive notes of black and red berries, cherries and vanilla. On the palate flavours of licorice and violet.

La Sirène de Giscours Margaux is the second wine from the world-famous Château Giscours in Margaux and consists of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. A wonderful Margaux seducer that has benefited from 30% new barrels during maturation.A dark garnet red in the glass, the nose is delicately spicy, with dark berries, leading into a cedar bouquet, blackcurrants and some roasted notes. The body of this dry wine is round and deep, with spicy notes lingering on the long finish.Please decant this French red wine at least one hour before drinking! Of course, it can also be aged in the cellar for several years. It is a wonderful accompaniment to poultry dishes, game and mature cheeses.The ratings speak for themselves: James Suckling: 92-93, Neal Martin 89-91, Robert Parker says it is the best Sirène de Giscours ever.

Our Cabernet Sauvignon, the unsung hero of Barossa wine, has been matured in new (20%) and seasoned (80%) French Oak for two years, achieving the structure, depth and balance expected from this premium Australian grape growing region.In 1838 a 32 year old Blacksmith, Christian Auricht, arrived in South Australia from Prussia with his wife and four children. He subsequently settled in the new hamlet of Langmeil and built a smithy, around which grew the trading centre of the village.

Langmeil 'Orphan Bank' Shiraz 2021

The Langmeil Orphan Bank Shiraz is one of the best red wines from the Langmeil winery. This dry wine is perfect for gourmets who want to taste as little sweetness as possible in their wine. The bouquet of this Australian red wine features notes of blackberries, blueberries and plums combined with vanilla, dark chocolate and cinnamon.In the glass, this special wine has a slightly dark red color. Langmeil The Fifth Wave Grenache is an impressive red wine from Australia's Barossa Valley, which is one of the top wines from the traditional Langmeil winery.Vines over 42 and 90 years old form the basis for this wine from South Australia. The so-called New World offers traditional, deeply rooted quality that is rarely found here.Langmeil Fifth Wave Grenache is a 100% Grenache that has matured for 21 months in 83% American and 17% French oak. Langmeil Jackaman’s Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Langmeil Jackman's Cabernet Sauvignon is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, based on 35+ year old vines. The wine matured 24 month in 50% new and 50% seasoned French oak Hogsheads. These are some of the fundamental components of a wonderful wine from the famous Barossa-region in South-Australia.The wine has a deep crimson colour with purple hues. On the nose lifted blackcurrants and blueberry aroma entwine with biscuity French oak, chocolate and hints of black olive and liquorice. On the palate bright, juicy. Blue and red fruits flow onto the palate which is medium to full bodied. Briary spice adds to the complexity and the sweet fruit is well balanced with fine, silky tannins which lengthen the fruitful and velvity finish.

Der reinsortige Langmeil Pure Eden Shiraz stammt von Rebstöcken, die vor 150 Jahren im australischen Eden Valley gepflanzt wurden. Das Terroir in diesem Gebiet zeichnet sich durch zersetztem Stein, Lehm, Granit und eisenhaltigem Gestein aus. Die Familie Lindner des Weinguts Langmeil engagiert sich für Qualität in allen Aspekten. Jeder Wein, der den Namen Langmeil trägt, steht für das Streben der Familie nach Spitzenleistungen in Wein und Gemeinschaft.Nach der Gärung reift der Wein 23 Monate auf der Eiche. Davon wird 1/3 in neuen französischen und der Rest in gebrauchten Eichenfässern ausgebaut.Im Glas zeigt sich der hervorragende Rotwein in einem mittleren bis tiefroten Karminrot mit violetten Reflexen. Ein verführerisches Bouquet von roten und blauen Früchten erhebt sich aus dem Glas, gepaart mit würzigen Kräutern und Anklängen an schwarze Oliven, Zedernholz, Erde und weißen Pfeffer. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich ein mittel- bis vollmundiger Wein mit saftigen Satsuma-Pflaumen und Himbeeren, mit viel saftigen Tanninen, die dem Wein Struktur und Textur verleihen. Süße und edle Gewürze balancieren die saftige Frucht mit einer subtilen Zedernnote bis zum Abgang.Der Langmeil Pure Eden Shiraz eignet sich ausgezeichnet als Begleiter zu Steak, Osso Bucco und Filet Mignon.

Lanzerac Le General 2021

Lanzerac Le General is a so-called Bordeaux Blend, which would be assigned to the left bank in Bordeaux, i.e. the Médoc region. This style has its origins in the classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot.The grapes for this wine all come from the estate's best vineyards in the Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch. The wine matured for 20 months in 1st and 2nd fill French oak barrels. This full-bodied blend announces vanilla and nutmeg spices before a flood of dark berries, cooked plums and blackcurrants hit the palate. Dark chocolate and a hint of smoke are supported by powerful, soft tannins and an endless finish. This vintage has already reached drinking maturity. Decanting recommended.Enjoy this wine with braised rack of lamb with fennel and orange or with a white chocolate mousse with cherries.

Dass kleine Brüder aber auch nicht ohne sein können, zeigt der 2015er Petit Haut Lafitte, der aus jüngeren Reben des Gutes gewonnen wird, aber mit der selben Hingabe im Weinkeller hergestellt wird. Der Wein reift für 14 Monate in 20% neuen Eichenfässern, die in der eigenen Küferei gefertigt werden.Der Petit Haut Lafitte 2015 ist von dunkler und intensiv-roter Farbe. Die Nase zeigt einen eleganten Mix aus roten und dunklen Früchten, Kirsche, Himbeere, Johannisbeere und etwas Kräuternoten. Am Gaumen sehr füllig und konzentriert mit schönen, geschliffenen Tanninen. Der Le Riche Vogelzang Cabernet Sauvignon Cinsaut ist eine faszinierende Rotweincuvee, die das Beste aus zwei edlen Rebsorten vereint. Aus dem renommierten Weingut Le Riche in Südafrika stammend, spiegelt dieser Wein die reiche Weinbautradition der Region wider und bietet ein unvergleichliches Geschmackserlebnis, das sowohl Kraft als auch Eleganz in sich vereint.Optisch begeistert der Wein mit einer tiefen Pflaumenfarbe, die bereits seine Intensität und Tiefe ankündigt. In der Nase entfaltet der Le Riche Vogelzang ein komplexes Aromenspektrum von schwarzen Johannisbeeren, Brombeeren, Cassis, Granatapfel und Zedernholz. Am Gaumen zeigen Noten von dunkler Schokolade und Lakritz. Die saftige Fruchtfülle des Cabernet Sauvignon wird von der Frische und Eleganz des Cinsaut perfekt balanciert. Weiche Tannine und eine gut integrierte Säurestruktur verleihen dem Wein eine angenehme Trinkbarkeit und eine lange, finessenreiche Persistenz. Der Abgang ist geprägt von reifen Beerenfrüchten, dezenten Gewürzen und einer feinen mineralischen Note. Die 20-monatige Fassreife macht den Vogelzang von Le Riche zudem zu einem hervorragenden Begleiter zu herzhaften Gerichten wie Lammkarree, gegrilltem Rindfleisch oder Wild. Auch zu würzigen Eintöpfen, reifem Käse oder dunkler Schokolade entfaltet er seine ganze Pracht.Seinen Namen Vogelzang (Gesang der Vögel) erhält der Wein von den ursprünglichen Eigentumsurkunden des Kaps, die vor über drei Jahrhunderten (17. Mai 1702) an eine der ersten freien Bürger von Stellenbosch, Sara Tas, verliehen wurde. Die Farm teilte den Sinai-Hügel von Helderberg auf, der im Volksmund als Berg Sinai bekannt ist und im Laufe der darauffolgenden Zeit viel Dramatisches erlebte, von respektlosen Pfarrern, frühem Feminismus, politischer Gehorsamsverweigerung bis hin zu magischer Heilerde. Es war auch eines der ersten Gebiete des Kaps, in dem Weinreben für den Weinanbau gepflanzt wurden, noch vor dem historischen Vergelegen-Anwesen und kurz nach der Bepflanzung von Groot Constantia.
