Langmeil Fifth Wave Grenache

Langmeil The Fifth Wave Grenache is an impressive red wine from Australia's Barossa Valley, which is one of the top wines from the traditional Langmeil winery.

Vines over 42 and 90 years old form the basis for this wine from South Australia. The so-called New World offers traditional, deeply rooted quality that is rarely found here.

Langmeil Fifth Wave Grenache is a 100% Grenache that has matured for 21 months in 83% American and 17% French oak. The ruby red wine offers aromas of dark cherries and raspberries on the nose, which harmonize wonderfully with notes of vanilla, white pepper and a sweet spiciness. Ripe red fruit aromas on the palate. The finish is spicy and peppery, also carried by distinctive tannins.

The Fifth Wave is dedicated to the fifth generation of the Lindner family, who have owned the winery since the 1990s. The viticultural history of the Langmeil vineyards dates back to the 1840s. The Barossa region is home to distinctive terroirs for the cultivation of outstanding wines.

Enjoy this wine with pasta, casseroles or various cheeses.

Langmeil Winery

Domaine l'Abbaye Clos Beylesse Rosé AOP
This rosé immediately catches the eye due to its blue bottle. Once you’ve opened the bottle, you will realize right away that this assemblage consisting of Shiraz, Grenache and Cinsault is not only visually striking. The bouquet is fascinating as it unites extraordinarily multi-faceted notes of citrus fruit, bilberries, raspberries and cherries, along with aromas of peach, melon, strawberries and violets. On the palate, the Domaine l'Abbaye Clos Beylesse Rose AOP is deeply aromatic and very sophisticated, showing a wonderful balance. The special blue bottle protects the rosé from the harmful influences of UV rays, thus preserving the wine’s freshness longer. In addition, the colour is meant to reflect the vineyard’s proximity to the sea. This rosé is produced with the utmost care. The juice is obtained by a traditional procedure in which the grapes are naturally pressed by their own weight (rosé saignée). You’ll enjoy discovering this French rosé that is outstanding in many respects. The Domaine l'Abbaye Clos Beylesse Rose AOP is delicious as an aperitif. It also goes beautifully with grilled fish and salads.

Penfolds Father Grand Tawny 10 Years
With regard to the production process and the type of wine, the Penfolds Father Grand Tawny is similar to a port wine, though it is not allowed to bear the protected term ‘port’. However, this does not diminish the wine’s quality and characteristics - on the contrary, Penfolds, Australia’s most famous winery, has produced a genuine delight. The different base wines are at least 10 years old. Wines of an average of 15 different vintages unite to create the Penfolds Father Grand Tawny, thus ensuring that the nuances of each vintage produce a concentrated Tawny. The base wine is traditionally enriched with specially distilled alcohol containing between 78 and 85 of alcohol by volume, simultaneously increasing both the Tawny’s alcohol content and its complexity. In the glass, the Father Grand Tawny is a light brown of medium intensity with hints of yellow and green at the rim. On the nose, it offers wonderful notes of oak, chocolate, plums and roasted nuts, complemented by nuances of cloves and anise. On the palate, the Tawny shows its full power and elegance, offering sweet notes of fruitcake and concentrated wood aromas. Its finish is wonderfully balanced, fresh and long-lasting.The Penfolds Father Grand Tawny 10 Years is lovely on its own as an aperitif and goes beautifully with sweet desserts.
