Fosso Corno Montepulciano Riserva DOC 2020

Der Fosso Corno Riserva ist eine Kreation aus 100% Montepulciano-Trauben, die ausschließlich vom Weingut Fosso Corno stammen. Zur Reifung lagerte dieser italienische Wein 12 Monate lang in Edelstahlbehältern und anschließend 12 Monate in Eichenholzfässern. Zur Verfeinerung blieb er weitere 2-3 Monate in der Flasche, bevor er auf dem Markt erhältlich ist. Der Wein aus den Abruzzen besitzt eine intensive rubinrote Farbe und ein weiches, duftendes Bouquet. Am Gaumen sind Noten von reifen Pflaumen und Lakritz prägend. Den Genießer erwarten zudem eine sehr gute Struktur und ein lang anhaltendes Finale.Genießen Sie diesen trockenen Rotwein zu Braten, Wild und reifen Käsesorten.

The Francis Coppola Diamond Collection Black Label Claret of this vintage combines excellent balance and great complexity. California experienced a summer characterized by constant, mild temperatures. Francis Ford Coppola Director's Cut Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

The Francis Ford Coppola Director's Cut Cabernet Sauvignon is an outstanding - or the Americans would say "outstanding" - wine from the Sonoma Valley. The director created "very big Hollywood" with this grape juice, with small amounts of Petit Verdot and Merlot Cabernet Franc, among others, also playing a part as extras.Coppola places particular emphasis on the subtleties here, as befits a director's cut. Particularly gentle fermentation, 15 months of ageing in French and American oak barrels and precise selection of the grapes according to the respective plots are the special effects used here by Coppola and his oenologist Cory Beck.The result is a powerful epic, with blackcurrants, cigar box, plums and black cherries on the nose. The opulent and full-bodied palate shows plenty of red and black berry fruit, tobacco, leather and vanilla. The finish is long-lasting and worthy of an exciting showdown.Overall, this dry red wine from the USA is a well-rounded, fruity wine with plenty of complexity, making it ideal as a solo wine. It benefits from 1 to 2 hours of decanting and will remain at the peak of drinking maturity for several years.Try this wine with pâtés, game, lamb, steak or blue cheese.

Francis Ford Coppola Director’s Cut Zinfandel 2022

Made with fruit grown entirely in the Dry Creek Valley appellation, where the combination of climate and location produces excellent Zinfandel fruit with intensely concentrated flavor.Half of the fruit was crushed whole, and the must (seeds and skins) was fermented in open-top fermentors for maximum color extraction and flavor enhancement.The wine was then aged in French oak barrels for twelve months, creating a wine with deep, rich layers of blueberries, raspberries, dark chocolate and mint, along with a lingering vanilla caramel finish.Delicious with soup, pork and spicey dishes.

Nicht zuletzt der Freemark Abbey Cabernet Sauvignon hat dazu beigetragen, dass die Weine aus dem Napa Valley weltweit zu den herausragenden Kreationen zählen. Auch im Jahrgang 2017 haben die Macherinnen und Macher von Freemark Abbey einen Cabernet Sauvignon komponiert, der von der internationalen Weinkritik gefeiert wird.Der Rotwein aus den USA duftet eindrucksvoll vielschichtig nach Brombeeren, Kirschen und Milchschokolade. Das Bouquet wird darüber hinaus bereichert durch Noten von Zedern und Kräutern der Provence sowie süßlichen Eichennoten.Lisa Perrotti-Brown vergibt in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate 92 Punkte für den Freemark Abbey Cabernet. Ihre Worte: „Der Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley offenbart frische Brombeeren, Schwarze Johannisbeeren und schwarze Pflaumen mit einem Hauch von dunkler Schokolade, Menthol und fruchtbarer Erde.“Am Gaumen ist der dunkel-rubinrote Wein trocken und vollmundig, mit einem wunderbar angenehmen, weichen Mundgefühl. Intensive Aromen von Kirschen sind prägend. Der Blend aus überwiegend Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot und sehr kleinen Anteilen Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc besitzt eine großartige Textur, die Tannine sind meisterhaft eingebunden. James Suckling vergibt 93 Punkte und findet: „Aromen von Blaubeeren, Johannisbeeren und Blumen folgen einem mittleren bis vollen Körper, festen und seidigen Tanninen und einem köstlichen Abgang. Zeigt einige Haselnuss- und Walnuss-Untertöne. Sehr fein abgestimmt.“Mehr als zwei Jahre reifte dieser edle Wein aus den USA im Eichenholz. Freemark Abbey, etwas mehr als 100 Kilometer nördlich von San Francisco gelegen, setzte dabei zu einem kleinen Anteil neue Fässer ein.

The Vajra Barolo Albe DOCG is a stylish homage to the traditional Barolo style and the great masters ("maestri") of this world-famous wine region. The cuvée comes from high-altitude vineyards in the heart of Piedmont - sites located at 380 to 480 meters above sea level and with their different exposures (south-east to south-west) bring impressive complexity to the wine. The name "Albe" (plural of alba, Italian for "dawn") refers to the three sunrises that can be experienced there - a symbol of light, diversity and depth.The G.D. Vajra winery is one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in the Barolo region. Aldo Vajra switched to sustainable and organic farming back in 1971 - long before it became a trend. The vineyards are kept healthy in a natural way through greening and natural biodiversity. Intensive manual work, continuous research and the deliberate avoidance of standardized cellar techniques make Barolo Albe an authentic and lively wine.The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and selected three times - directly on the vine, as whole bunches and again as individual berries. Vinification is traditional, with long maceration periods of 30 to 61 days in specially designed vertical fermentation tanks. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and 24 months of ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels give the wine structure, balance and longevity. Bottling only takes place after an extended ageing period to ensure maximum expressiveness.In the glass, the Vajra Barolo Albe is a clear garnet red with a bright core. The nose is dominated by fresh floral notes - rose petals, violets - accompanied by typical Nebbiolo aromas and fine balsamic nuances. On the palate, the wine is lively, precise and energetic, with elegant tannins and aromas of bright red fruits, ripe cherries and delicate spice. A Barolo that is already accessible when young, but also has great ageing potential.Barolo Albe is an excellent accompaniment to braised beef, game dishes, truffle pasta or strong mushroom risottos. It also unfolds its full elegance with mature hard cheese or roast lamb.Enjoy it at a drinking temperature of around 18 °C to allow its aromatic depth and fine structure to develop to the full.

The Gabbiano Alleanze IGT delights with an aromatic bouquet of blackcurrants and dark plums as well as light notes of vanilla, cinnamon, pink pepper, coffee and chocolate.
