Yarden Pinot Noir comes from the northernmost and generally considered the best appellation in Israel's Galilee region. The vineyards are located on a volcanic plateau between 400 and 1200 meters above sea level. The wine has fruity notes of bright raspberries and cranberries. There are also notes of violets and a hint of spice. An elegant expression of French oak plays in the background. The Yarden Pinot Noir matured for 16 months in mostly new oak barrels.
