The Hall Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is a red wine full of character from the USA, more precisely from the renowned Paso Robles wine-growing region on California's Central Coast. The region is known for its warm, sunny climate with cool nights, which provides ideal conditions for growing Cabernet Sauvignon and results in fully ripe grapes with an intense aroma and rather mild acidity. Hall Ranch established itself in the early 1990s as a new winery that wanted to bring the pioneering spirit of California into the wine glass with a fresh spirit.In the glass, the wine is a deep ruby red. The nose reveals aromas of dark berries, particularly blackcurrant and ripe cherry, complemented by subtle spicy notes, slight hints of vanilla, cocoa and toasted wood, which indicate that the wine has been aged in barrels. On the palate, the Hall Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied and juicy, with pronounced fruit, well-integrated, soft tannins and a pleasant structure. The finish is round and of medium length, with a good balance between fruit, spice and a subtle woody character.Overall, this wine represents good to very good quality in the style of a modern Californian Cabernet Sauvignon: fruit-driven, accessible and yet with sufficient depth and structure. We are convinced of this grape juice as a "total work of art", because rarely has a wine impressed us so much with its harmony and coherent appearance. It is suitable both for solo enjoyment and as an accompaniment to hearty dishes such as grilled meat, beef, lamb or savory dishes and offers an exceptionally good price-pleasure ratio.

A Rhone-style wine from California! Why not?The Hall Ranch Blend comes from Paso Robles, California and is composed of 73% Grenache, 23% Mourvèdre, 2% Petite Sirah and 2% Syrah. The Hall Ranch winery produces modern, precise and terroir-driven wines; the grapes come from selected sites in Hall's own vineyards, where the warm, sunny climate is balanced by cooling maritime influences. These conditions ensure even ripeness and a high aromatic concentration.The Hall Ranch Blend is elegant and very velvety on the palate. The nose reveals intense aromas of dark berries such as blackberries and ripe black cherries, accompanied by notes of cassis, vanilla, cocoa and fine roasted aromas from the ageing in wood. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with juicy fruit, well-integrated tannins and a balanced acidity that gives it freshness and structure. Haute Cabrière Arnim Family Reserve 2021

An unusual composition: in the Haute Cabrière Arnim Family Reserve, the Haute Cabrière wine estate combines the Syrah (Shiraz) and Pinot Noir grape varieties. The result is a red wine from South Africa that has a lot to offer. Intense notes of red fruits (ripe cherries, cassis) on the nose, plus blueberries and a fine spice and barrique note (cedar wood). The Hensel Höhenflug Cuvée red wine proves that the international grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah can also produce outstanding wines in Germany.Strictly selected grapes from the estate's best vineyards are blended together to create this cuvée. The wine smells of clove pepper and has notes of hot black pepper. The Holden Manz Rosé is a light, crisp wine in the distinctive Provence rosé style, made of the typical Grenache, Shiraz and Cinsault grape varieties, amongst others. Its colour recalls light onion skin. On the nose, the wine offers notes of lychees, strawberries and various tropical fruit, along with aromas of rose petals, orange peel and grapefruit. The Holden Manz Rosé is wonderfully fruity and refreshingly dry on the palate, offering aromas of raspberries, pineapple and lavender. Holden Manz Vernissage 2021

The Holden Manz Vernissage is a cuvée consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. The Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety gives the wine a lovely structure and particularly elegant tannins. Shiraz and Merlot provide notes of spices and fruit aromas, which are mainly characterised by nuances of dark cherries and plums. The wine is a light ruby-red, developing into a clear red towards the rim in the glass. The Holden Manz Vernissage has a balanced acidity and shows vivid aromas of cassis, tobacco and spice, giving the wine a very good balance. Its finish is soft and long-lasting. Winemaker Thierry Haberer selected the grapes from various vineyards with different types of soil. The grapes were harvested when fully ripe, thus giving the wine a wonderful complexity. After the careful blending of the single batches and grape varieties and the numerous tastings involved, Thierry finally created this expressive, balanced and very fruity Holden Manz Vernissage. The wine matured for 18 months in 225-litre French oak casks. Enjoy the wine with lamb stews with garlic sauce or grilled polenta.

Holden Manz Visionaire 2020

The name ‘Holden Manz Visionaire’ stands for something special. It represents the attempt to create an expressive wine consisting of 6 different grape varieties - and the winery succeeded! The interaction of the single grape varieties was a real challenge for the winemaker as he had to take the most diverse aspects into consideration. The grapes were selected from various vineyards with different types of soil. The ageing was carried out in 225-litre French oak casks, of which 20% were new and 80% were second- and third-fill barrels. The wines were aged for 24 months before they were blended and bottled, resulting in a wine of extreme complexity that shows a perfect balance between residual sugar and acidity. On the nose, it pampers your senses with a variety of aromas such as notes of mulberries and currants as well as fine nuances of white pepper and violets. The Holden Manz Visionaire is elegant and smooth on the palate, with a medium body. The palate is predominantly characterised by notes of red and black fruit and an exceptional minerality, wonderfully rounded off by skilfully integrated, strong tannins.
