This blend from the Waterkloof estate unites notes of fresh red fruit, spicy aromas and a great freshness in its bouquet. The Waterkloof Circle of Life Red is fresh, fruity and soft on the palate, with a lovely acidity, developing herbal notes and elegantly integrated tannins.

Initially, the individual grape varieties matured separately for 18 months in French oak casks, of which only one fifth were new barrels in order to avoid predominant notes of wood. After blending, this wine matured for a further twelve months in wooden casks.

The Waterkloof winery has dedicated itself to producing organic wines for several years. In this Waterkloof Circle of Life Red you’ll discover a natural wine from South Africa that authentically reflects the grapes’ qualities.

Warwick Trilogy

The wine displays an intense ruby red colour in the glass. The bouquet is reminiscence of cherries, blackcurrants and has tones of dark chocolate. The pallet is full bodied with firm but silky tannins. Decanting is recommended to express the true essence of this Bordeaux blend. This wine pairs good with veal, game, and intensely flavoured stews or serve with a bitter chocolate desert.

Springfield The Work of Time

The Springfield "The Work of Time" is a powerful, Bordeaux-inspired red wine cuvée from Robertson in South Africa.A spicy and sensual aroma on the nose, peppery and open. The broad and complex bouquet of Springfield The Work of Time is accompanied by vanilla, berries, cherries and a hint of chocolate. You can taste a smooth elegance on the palate and a slightly mature taste. There is also a light spiciness, vanilla aroma and cherry.The overall taste is smooth and well-rounded. The grapes were fermented entirely with indigenous yeasts (according to ancient custom) and left on their skins for 5 weeks. This was followed by 2 years of slow barrel ageing and a further 4 years of bottle ageing. Waterkloof Circumstance Sauvignon Blanc

Grapes of exceptionally high quality form the basis of this excellent white wine from South Africa. The Waterkloof Circumstance Sauvignon Blanc unites notes of lime and gooseberries in its bouquet, along with nuances of white and green pepper. The grapes for this white wine come from vineyards located near False Bay. On the palate, it is very acidic, fruity and clear, offering an ample texture and a prolonged minerality. This Sauvignon Blanc was aged in large, used oak casks and is thus a wonderfully stimulating taste experience from South Africa. Try this organically produced white wine with prawns, for example.
