The Tenuta Sant’Antonio winery is run by the Castagnedi brothers with great passion. With the wines of the Scaia line, they fulfilled their dream of reinventing wine in a fashion that better meets the requirements of young producers. They’ve created something very innovative - a contemporary interpretation of the magnificent tradition of the Tenuta Sant’Antonio winery.The wines are pleasantly fresh and aromatic. The Rondinella grapes for the Scaia Rosato are gently pressed. After brief skin contact, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine is a brilliant pink in the glass. Its bouquet offers aromas recalling roses and raspberries. The rosé is fruity on the palate, showing a well-balanced freshness. The Tenuta Sant Antonio Scaia Rosato is an ideal accompaniment to pasta dishes, risotto, white meat and poultry. It also goes beautifully with roasted polenta with herring, fresh cheeses and fish.

Der Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG ist eine Cuvée aus vier Valpolicella-Rebsorten. So ist er aus Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Corvinone und Molinara gekeltert. Für diesen Amarone verwendet das Weingut Tommasi Viticoltori ausschließlich die am besten ausgereiften Cluster und lässt die Trauben über den Winter in offenen Regalen trocknen. Danach reift der Wein drei Jahre in Eichenfässern und ein Jahr in der Flasche.Dadurch leuchtet dieser Wein im Glas in einem tiefen Rubinrot und hat ein intensives Bouquet sowie einen vollmundigen Geschmack. Er duftet nach Schwarzbeeren, Kaffee, Tabak und einem Hauch Vanille und Bitterschokolade. Am Gaumen entfalten sich weitere fruchtige Noten von Kirsche und Pflaume mit harmonisch eingebundenen Tanninen und einem anhaltenden Nachklang.Dieser komplexe und raffinierte Rotwein aus dem Veneto passt bei 18 bis 20 °C Trinktemperatur hervorragend zu würzigen Speisen. This wine shows an excellent fullness, majestic aromas and an outstanding balance among all components, giving it ideal potential for prolonged ageing. The Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a sensational masterpiece of taste and fragrance. The Amarone has an impressive elegance, ripe fruit and an inviting bouquet. It is ruby-red in colour and shows fine hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine is impressively powerful, with warm, rich nuances of wild cherry and chocolate. The Amarone is a little jewel in the range of Zenato wines. It is made of the excellent Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina grapes, which come from the Valpolicella Classico region from the municipalities of Sant'Ambrogio, Negrar, Pedemonte, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano and Marano. The grapes are harvested and picked by hand and subsequently dried for a period of three months. As a consequence, much of the liquid evaporates, resulting in berries that are extremely rich in sugar. After fermentation, the wine matured for 30 months in oak casks and for a further 12 months in the bottle.

It owes its name to the town of Bardolino, which lies on the eastern shore of the lake and enjoys an excellent reputation as a wine-growing region. The Zenato winery uses Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara grapes for this Italian cuvée.This dry rosé impresses with its delicate pink color and fresh, fruity bouquet. Its fragrance combines aromas of strawberries, cherries, raspberries, lychees and rhubarb with a hint of rosehip. A fine fruit acidity is noticeable on the palate. Thanks to this harmony of freshness and fruitiness, this rosé wine is the perfect summer wine.This rosé wine from Italy is particularly enjoyable at a drinking temperature of 10 to 12 °C. It is wonderful as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to light dishes. It harmonizes with tuna, seafood and salads. Zenato gives the name “Ripassa” to this wine, which shares many of the characteristics of our Amarone.As soon as the fermentation is completed of the dried grapes for the Amarone, selected lots of Valpolicella are then “re-passed” on the Amarone pomace, thus initiating a second fermentation which increases slightly the alcoholic content and gives the wine deeper colour, increased extract, and more complex aromas.After six months’ bottle-ageing, the result is a rounded, velvet-textured wine with rich, complex aromas of berries and an impressively lengthy finish that seems to linger forever.Ripassa represents one of the most important milestones in Zenato’s winemaking evolution.
