The Steenberg 1682 Pinot Noir Rosé Cap Classique (MCC) is a high-quality, traditionally produced sparkling wine from the Steenberg wine estate in Constantia, the oldest wine-growing region in South Africa. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this Cap Classique impressively demonstrates how elegant and complex South African sparkling wine can be.In the glass, the rosé sparkling wine has a delicate salmon hue with a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it has aromas of fresh strawberries, redcurrants, grapefruit and a hint of brioche. On the palate, the Steenberg 1682 Pinot Noir Rosé (MCC) impresses with its lively freshness, elegant mousseux, clear fruit and a fine, dry minerality on the finish.This Cap Classique is vinified like a Champagne according to the Méthode Traditionnelle - this means bottle fermentation with at least 12 months on the lees. The grapes are gently pressed to extract only the best must. Yarden Pinot Noir 2021

Yarden Pinot Noir comes from the northernmost and generally considered the best appellation in Israel's Galilee region. The vineyards are located on a volcanic plateau between 400 and 1200 meters above sea level. The wine has fruity notes of bright raspberries and cranberries. There are also notes of violets and a hint of spice. An elegant expression of French oak plays in the background. The Yarden Pinot Noir matured for 16 months in mostly new oak barrels. The wine has a firm body and a smooth finish.Although the Yarden Pinot Noir has already reached drinking maturity, it will improve in the bottle over the next few years and should remain in good drinking condition for around five to eight years. The wine is an excellent accompaniment to a variety of dishes, such as Peking duck, seared tuna with mango salsa or creamy mushroom risotto.
