The Steenberg 1682 Pinot Noir Rosé Cap Classique (MCC) is a high-quality, traditionally produced sparkling wine from the Steenberg wine estate in Constantia, the oldest wine-growing region in South Africa. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this Cap Classique impressively demonstrates how elegant and complex South African sparkling wine can be.

In the glass, the rosé sparkling wine has a delicate salmon hue with a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it has aromas of fresh strawberries, redcurrants, grapefruit and a hint of brioche. On the palate, the Steenberg 1682 Pinot Noir Rosé (MCC) impresses with its lively freshness, elegant mousseux, clear fruit and a fine, dry minerality on the finish.

This Cap Classique is vinified like a Champagne according to the Méthode Traditionnelle - this means bottle fermentation with at least 12 months on the lees. The grapes are gently pressed to extract only the best must. The result is a rosé sparkling wine with depth, freshness and fine complexity - without any concessions to quality.

Ideal as a fine aperitif, but also a fine accompaniment to sushi, prawns, salmon, poultry, goat's cheese or light fruit desserts.

A many-hued colour with strong pink tinges and fine bubbles.The nose is fresh and direct, with aromas reminiscent of cherries, blackberries, pomegranates and redcurrants.On the palate, the wine shows a deliciously full body that follows on perfectly from the nose. Its flavours remind one of fresh strawberries and raspberries.The finish has a pleasantly acidulous character that adds to the impression of finesse given by this romantic and well-balanced wine.The champagne made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes from the Montagne de Reimsregion, and from Premiers Crus andGrands Crus.Its specific style and colour are the result of blending in 8% of red wine produced from a plot of old vines on the hill of Aÿ, and from a plot known as “Meurtet”. Both are particularly well sited and belong to Deutz. Benguela Cove MCC Cuvee 58 Rose ist ein südafrikanischer Schaumwein aus der Region Walker Bay. Er wird zu 75% aus Pinot Noir und 25% aus Sauvignon Blanc vinifiziert. Dabei kommt die Methode Cap Classique zum Einsatz, ähnlich also der Herstellung eines Champagners. Der Wein hat eine rosegoldene Farbe und zeigt ausgeprägte Aromen von roten Beeren, türkischem Honig und Granatapfel mit Untertönen von Veilchen in der Nase. Der Geschmack ist verführerisch frisch und belebend mit einem anhaltenden Nachgeschmack von Erdbeere, Nougat und geschnittener Grapefruit. Die Mousse ist fein und weich und hinterlässt ein verlockendes Gefühl auf den Geschmacksknospen. Absolut köstlich für den Sommer.Passt hervorragend zu einer Gartenparty als Aperitif oder zu Meeresfrüchten.
