Wolfberger Signature Pinot Noir d'Alsace AOC

Alsace stands for the "Art de Vivre" (art of living) paired with the romance of half-timbered houses. The region in France stretches 190 km long and 50 km wide between the Rhine and the Vosges Mountains, guaranteeing sheltered climatic conditions, warmth and little rainfall. The French winery Wolfberger uses this terroir with its unique variety of soils for its Pinot Noir d'Alsace AOC.

The Pinot Noir berries are harvested as soon as the grapes are optionally ripe. After alcoholic fermentation, the dry red wine matures on the lees.

A wine-red grape juice appears in the glass. The nose is surrounded by intense aromas of red fruits such as strawberries, raspberries and cherries. The tannins are mild and present on the palate, paired with a good, fruity presence.

We recommend the Wolfberger Pinot Noir d'Alsace AOC with grilled red meat, sausages of all kinds and cheese.

When you think of the Muscat grape variety, you would probably initially assume that it is a rather sweet wine. However, the Wolfberger Signature Muscat is made from the two grape varieties Muscat d Alsace and Muscat Ottonel and should not be confused with the sweet liqueur wine. These grape varieties produce dry, refreshing white wines.Light yellow in color with silver reflections, the wine smells of pear, lychee and floral notes. On the palate, the Wolfberger Signature Muscat is impressively balanced and delicately smooth. Its freshness and liveliness are particularly impressive. In the finish, a fine bitter note brings a beautiful long-lasting aroma. This wine from the French Alsace region is ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to salad or fish dishes. It is also a perfect wine with asparagus and vegetable variations.
