It is therefore all the more important to preserve the original character of this grape. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento does this very well. Deliberately with a little less residual sweetness and very structured on the palate, this dry wine from Italy is full-bodied but at the same time has a smoothness that is second to none. In a long process with the cellar master and owner Gaetano Marangelli from Cantine Menhir, we have brought the typical Apulian native form of a Primitivo into the bottle.The color is an intense dark red and shows all the power of the sun that was able to flow into the grapes of the Pr1mo. The nose has wonderful aromas of cherry jam, ripe plums and wild berries. Maturing in wooden barrels gives the wine an additional hint of vanilla. Fruit and fullness dominate the palate. 19 Crimes "The Uprising" Red

‘The Uprising’ is a wine that was aged for 30 days in rum barrels and is a tribute to Australia’s Rum Rebellion of 1808. As the rum trade was hindered by the government at that time, citizens and soldiers joined together to bring down the government. The ageing in rum barrels gives this wine its dark, jammy body and a finish characterised by notes of warm brown sugar.The grapes for the 19 Crimes ‘The Uprising’ come from selected vineyards that are renowned for their spice and concentration, giving the wine its great intensity and sensational flavour. In the 2019 vintage, the Shiraz grape variety is predominant, giving the wine light notes of raspberries and a fine tannin structure. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes produce lovely blackberry aromas and ensure fullness and structure on the palate. The ‘The Uprising’ is rounded off by a smaller percentage of Grenache, giving the wine its spice and sweet fruitiness. On the nose, the wine offers intense notes of mocha, caramel and baking flavours.Like all wines of the 19 crimes line, ‘The Uprising’ has a history of its own:The man depicted on the label was a member of the Fenian brotherhood from Skibbereen in Ireland who played a major role in the Fenian movement right from the beginning. In 1864, he was arrested, found guilty, sentenced to ten years in prison and deported to Australia.

The grapes come from vineyards with clay and limestone soils located at an altitude of 350 to 500 metres, giving the wine a light minerality. Le Rosé par Paul Mas IGP

The grapes for Le Rosé par Paul Mas grow on a soil of clay and limestone. They are harvested by machine at night. In order to preserve the fruity aroma of the grapes, fermentation takes place in barrels at a controlled temperature after destemming and pressing at 5 degrees. After maturing on the lees for three months, the salmon-colored wine is bottled.The expressive rosé wine smells of red fruits, especially raspberries. On the palate, there is a good balance between the fruit, volume, freshness and character of the wine from France.Enjoy the dry Le Rosé par Paul Mas simply on its own as an aperitif or with grilled meat, exotic spicy dishes and salads.The great bottle design is also not to be sneezed at. This blend breaks with classic Cape Blend conventions by using Shiraz as the leading grape variety - a special feature that reflects the innovative spirit of the winery and its creator's preference for Shiraz.Iconoclast combines four grape varieties to create a harmonious, complex cuvée. In the glass, it has a deep dark, luminous color, while the nose is characterized by intense aromas of ripe berries, spicy herbs and fine chocolate notes. A powerful, structured wine with velvety tannins, lively acidity and a long, elegant finish unfolds on the palate. The combination of fruitiness, spice and harmonious structure makes it an expressive representative of its terroir and unconventional character.This Cape Blend is an excellent accompaniment to grilled or braised lamb, roast beef or hearty game dishes. Opus One 2022 is a masterpiece of winemaking, created from the vision of Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Robert Mondavi. This iconic blend from the heart of Napa Valley embodies uncompromising quality, sophistication and the perfect symbiosis of tradition and innovation - a red wine that will inspire generations.The grapes ripen in carefully tended vineyards that are nurtured by experienced hands. After a rainy winter and a dry spring, the harvest required a precise approach: Ripe fruit was selectively harvested and irrigation was carefully adjusted. The result is a wine of exceptional freshness, expressiveness and incomparable elegance.The blend consists of 80 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 8 % Petit Verdot, 6.5 % Cabernet Franc, 5 % Merlot and 0.5 % Malbec. After 20 days of maceration, the wine matures for 18 months in new French oak barrels, giving it depth, structure and velvety finesse.The nose seduces with complex aromas of blueberries, cassis and dried rose petals, underpinned by subtle nuances of olives, cigar box and graphite. On the palate, bright red fruit, cocoa and fresh orange peel unfold into a harmonious, balanced ensemble. The long, elegant finish reveals nuances of wet stone, vanilla and a hint of coffee, while finely woven tannins and juicy maturity underline the ageing potential of this masterpiece.Experience Opus One 2022 with fillet beef tenderloin, rack of lamb or mature hard cheese, served at 16-18 °C to fully appreciate the extraordinary complexity, depth and elegance of this unique wine.
