On the nose, this fine blend, consisting of the Malvasia di Candia and Trebbiano grape varieties, offers nuances recalling pears and green apples, along with lovely fresh notes of elder blossom, grass and white blossoms as well. On the palate, this white wine from Frascati, the famous municipality near Rome, is fresh, fruity, wonderfully mineral and accessible, with a long finish.The People Frascati DOCG Superiore from the Poggio Le Volpi estate, one of the wineries in the Lazio region, is lovely on its own as an aperitif. The white wine from Italy is also an excellent accompaniment to seafood, fish dishes, cream cheese or risotto.

Peppoli Chianti Classico DOCG 2023

Der Pèppoli Chianti Classico ist ein Rotwein aus der Toskana, den das Ausnahme-Weingut Antinori seit 1985 kreiert und der weltweit eine große Fangemeinde hat. Im Glas strahlt dieser italienische Rotwein aus den malerischen Landschaften zwischen Florenz und Siena rubinrot. Der Pèppoli Chianti Classico duftet herrlich fruchtbetont nach Kirschen, Johannisbeeren und Erdbeeren. Dazu kommen wunderbar harmonische Noten von Blüten. Vor allem Veilchen und Lavendel sind hier prägend. Würzige Nuancen (Lakritz) und feine Röstaromen vom Ausbau im Holz runden das Bouquet ab.Am Gaumen ist der Pèppoli trocken und angenehm weich, mit einer animierenden Frische und Fruchtigkeit. Der Chianti Classico besitzt durch den Ausbau im Holz viel Eleganz und Struktur, die samtigen, zarten Tannine sind gekonnt eingebunden. Das Finale ist geprägt von einer tollen Würze und Fruchtbetontheit. Dazu kommen die unterschwelligen Röstaromen, die das Geschmackserlebnis perfekt machen.Der Pèppoli Chianti Classico von Antinori wurde zum größten Teil über 9 Monate in großen Fässern aus slawonischer Eiche ausgebaut. Ein kleinerer Teil reifte in Barriques und in Edelstahlbehältern.

Together with the age old traditions of Dry Land viticulture, it resulted in a very aromatic and richly textured wine, with characteristics typical to Chenin Blanc grown under these conditions.Citrus, lemon zest, dried pear, peach and apricot flavors are only some of the aromas evident in the aromatics of this wine. The palate boasts hints of honey comb, pineapple and vanilla, while the finish is crisp with a well-balanced acidity. This exceptional blend of Shiraz, Mourvedre, Grenache Noir and Cinsault maturated in oak barrels. Perdeberg The Dryland Collection Joseph’s Legacy is a tribute to Perdeberg’s legendary winemaker, Joseph Huskisson, who was a visionary in his time at Perdeberg from 1956 to 1994. Only the best barrels from the 2019 vintage were selected for this magnificent blend.Black pepper, cedar, cherry, red berries and vanilla notes are all prominent on the nose. The Paarl wine region in South Africa produces excellent Pinotage wines. A very good example of this is the Perdeberg Vineyard Collection Pinotage, a great red wine with depth and power.In the glass, this Pinotage is a deep ruby red with violet reflections. The wine smells wonderfully of plum, cherry and ripe berries, such as blackberries and blackcurrants, accompanied by a hint of vanilla. This comes from twelve months of ageing in 300 and 500 liter barrels, 95% of which were used wooden barrels.
