From farm to winery. Pfaffl has developed rapidly since it was founded in 1978 and was even voted European Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast. The Pfaffl winery is at home in Austria's largest wine-growing region. Lower Austria stands for loess soils, warm days and cool nights. An excellent terroir for the Riesling grapes of Pfaffl Vom Haus Riesling.After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and crushed. Before pressing, they are left on the skins for 2 hours. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 18°C in stainless steel tanks.In the glass, Pfaffl's Vom Haus Riesling is light yellow in color.
