The Valmoro Rueda Verdejo from the Álvarez y Díez winery is an authentic wine from the Rueda region in Spain. In the high altitudes of the Rueda region, there are significant temperature differences between day and night. This gives the vines a good balance between sugar and acidity. To emphasize the fruit, the harvest takes place at night. This allows fermentation to begin in the coolest possible conditions.

In the glass, the dry Spanish white wine shines bright yellow. The bouquet has intense aromas of lime, pear, pineapple and fennel. There are also notes of freshly cut grass and aniseed. On the palate, Álvarez y Díez Valmoro Rueda Verdejo is lively and balanced with an unobtrusive minerality and notes of ripe citrus fruits. Long, fresh finish with elegant, balanced acidity.

Thanks to its freshness and balance, Verdejo is ideal as an aperitif or with grilled or baked fish, chicken and sushi.

Die Weine aus der Region Rueda in Spanien haben in den letzten Jahren große Aufmerksamkeit erzeugt. Dabei haben sie bereits eine lange Geschichte vorzuweisen, denn bis zum 16. Jahrhundert wurden Verdejo-Weine aus der Rueda am spanischen Königshof ausgeschenkt. Diese Weine stehen für prägnante Exotik-Aromen und sind besonders bei jüngeren Kunden äußerst beliebt. Die Weinberge liegen in einer Höhe von 600 bis 800 Meter rund um das Dorf Rueda. Die Böden sind kalksteinhaltig, auf denen die Rebsorten Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc und Viura perfekt gedeihen.

Juan de Benito, der die Bodegas Alvarez y Díez leitet, hat einen frischen und fruchtigen Stil entwickelt. Die Familie Benito hat einiges an Geschichte in Kastiliens Weinproduktion vorzuweisen. Der Vater von Juan de Benito gründete 1977 die heutige Bodega, die Juan seit 1992 führt. Das Weingut verfügt über 100 Hektar Weinberge.

Pedro Escudero Valdelagunde Cuvée Especial Verdejo DO is an intense, rich wine, in which the flavours of stone fruit (peach, apricot) predominate. Spicy notes appear, lightly, with a touch of vanilla from the oak barrels, accompanying the characteristic, bitter almond aftertaste of a Verdejo wine.This wine has been made exclusively from Verdejo grapes harvested from vineyards of the Bodegas Pedro Escudero, rooted in the rocky lands of the Fuente Elvira vineyard in the village La Seca. Part of the wine is fermented in stainless steel vats, part is a maceration most, other part has paralysed the fermentation and the last part in French and American oak casks.

Der trockene Mantel Blanco stammt aus der Region Rueda und besteht zu 100% aus der Rebsorte Verdejo.Die Reben des Mantel Blanco kommen ausschließlich aus eigener Produktion von dem Weingut Alvarez y Diez. Die Ernte findet immer nachts statt. Um die Eigenschaften der Trauben zu bewahren, werden traditionelle Techniken mit modernen Maschinen kombiniert.Im Glas zeigt sich der Mantel Blanco strohgelb mit grünen Reflexen. Das Bouquet hat angenehme Aromen von Kernobst und Zitrusfrüchten, wobei die Zitrusfrüchte im Hintergrund mitspielen. Anthonij Rupert Protea Chardonnay

Die Trauben für den Protea Chardonnay vom Weingut Anthonij Rupert stammen aus verschiedenen Weingärten in Franschhoek und Robertson. Die einzelnen Partien wurden separat vergoren und zum Teil in französischer Eiche ausgebaut, um dem Wein eine höhere Komplexität und Struktur zu geben. Am Ende wurden alle Partien gemischt und abgefüllt. Noten der Blutorange konkurrieren mit Aromen von Grapefruit und Zitrone in der Nase.
