Pago de Carraovejas is a Spanish winery in the Ribera del Duero region. Pago de Carraovejas is known for its top wine, which is also called Pago de Carraovejas and is a blend of Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), Cabernet Sauvignon (3%) and Merlot (3%). The wine was aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels before being bottled and released for sale. Previous vintages have already won numerous prizes and awards, making it widely regarded as one of the best wines from the Ribera del Duero region.

The vines grow on soils with a limestone structure containing red clay and white loam. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 850 meters in a valley of the same name as the wine. This terroir gives the Pago de Carraovejas a unique depth. Wonderful fruit aromas are paired with notes of vanilla and toast. The finish is characterized by a strong spicy note.

There are quite a few people who claim that Aalto wines represent the best of Spanish viticulture in the Ribera del Duero region. Every year, the Aalto wines are once again compared to those produced by the Vega Sicilia estate, and the Aalto wines often win by a nose. For more than 30 years, Mariano García Fernández, the founder of the Aalto winery, was responsible for the wines produced by the Vega Sicilia estate, of which he was the Technical Director. With his own Bodega Aalto, García Fernández wants to achieve the best result without losing respect for the grapes. In creating his wines, he strives for the maximum expression of the terroir, uniting structure and power with elegance and complexity. The Aalto was characterised by a warm winter’s end and an early spring with early flowering. Sufficient rain in summer and a dry autumn led to grapes of an optimal quality. The grapes come mainly from very old vines that are up to 80 years old.The pure varietal Tempranillo (in the Burgos and Valladolid region better known as Tinto Fino) is a cherry red in colour. The wine offers fine notes of spices on the nose, along with light flavours of well-integrated wood. On the palate, the Aalto is wonderfully fresh and dense. Notes of tobacco, coffee and subtle aromas of liquorice reveal the unique style so typical of this Aalto. Due to its soft and round character, the wine can already be enjoyed young. Owing to the soft, enclosing tannins and a good acidity, the Aalto will increase its complexity over the coming years. The ageing of the wine in half new and half used barrels ofAmerican and French oak ensures that it will store well in the bottle. Enjoy the Aalto with a lovely beef roast or simply on its own in front of the fireplace.

Der Tinto Pesquera MXI steht für die dritte Generation der Familia Fernández Rivera. Mitte der 1980er-Jahre trug die Familie wesentlich mit ihrem Tempranillo dazu bei, die nordspanische Anbauregion Ribera del Duero auf der Weltkarte des hochwertigen Weinanbaus zu platzieren. Nun kreieren die Enkelinnen von Alejandro Fernández mit dem Fernández Rivera Tinto Pesquera MXI einen weiteren herausragenden, reinsortigen Tempranillo. Der spanische Rotwein duftet intensiv fruchtig nach Himbeeren und Brombeeren sowie Backpflaumen. Hinzu kommen Nuancen von Nüssen, Schokolade und Zimt sowie von Eichenholz, die das Bouquet perfekt abrunden. Am Gaumen ist der tief granatrote Wein trocken und faszinierend weich, mit einer angenehmen Säure und perfekt integrierten, geschmeidigen Tanninen. Das Aromenspiel bietet Aromen von Haselnuss und Kirsche. Zum Finale hin sind Vanille- und Toffee-Aromen prägend.   Die Tempranillo-Trauben für den Fernández Rivera Tinto Pesquera MXI stammen von den höchstgelegenen Parzellen des Weinguts, etwa 800 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. In dieser Höhe können die Trauben die Fruchtintensität ausbilden, die in der heißen Ribera del Duero-Region sonst nicht möglich wäre. Die Parzellen haben die Nummern 10 und 11. Unter anderem daher rührt der Name Pesquera MXI (römische Zahl MXI = 1011). 14 Monate reifte der reinsortige Tempranillo in Eichenfässern unterschiedlicher Größen. Genießen Sie den Tinto Pesquera MXI bei einer Trinktemperatur von 15 bis 17 Grad. Unsere Empfehlung: Dekantieren Sie den Rotwein 30 Minuten vor dem Genuss. Dieser Tempranillo aus der Ribera del Duero-Region ist ein perfekter Begleiter zu hochwertigem, gegrilltem Fleisch, zum Beispiel zu Lammkoteletts. Noch bis 2035 ein Genuss-Garant.

Garmon Continental is the third project of the Garcia family, which owns Bodegas Mauro, one of the best-known and most innovative Spanish wineries of the 20th century. The winery's only wine is Garmon, a single-varietal Tempranillo. This red wine comes from vines in the Ribera del Duero region that are between 30 and 100 years old. On average, these vines are 900 meters above sea level, which gives the wine a natural freshness, strength and depth. After 20 months of ageing in French oak barrels, the wine is bottled. In the glass, it shines a bright purple. The Garmon has a wonderfully fresh aroma of blueberries, cherries and exotic spices. On the palate, this Tempranillo is wonderfully concentrated and complex. Dieser Rotwein aus der Ribera del Duero-Region vereint in sich einige Besonderheiten, die bei Genießerinnen und Genießern Eindruck hinterlassen werden. Der Cyclo vom Weingut Finca Torremilanos stammt von Rebstöcken, die zum Teil älter als 80 Jahre sind. Die Trauben für den spanischen Rotwein wachsen in Lagen in 1.000 Metern Höhe. Die großen Temperaturunterschiede zwischen Tag und Nacht lassen besonders aromatische Trauben heranreifen.Darüber hinaus reifte der Torremilanos Cyclo mehr als 20 Monate im Barrique aus französischer Eiche. Die Fässer wurden dabei in der hauseigenen Küferei der Familie Peñalba Lopez, den Besitzern des Weingutes, hergestellt. Cyclo – alles ist ein Kreislauf der Natur. Und die Finca Torremilanos hat den Anspruch, in diesen Kreislauf nur sehr zurückhaltend einzugreifen.So ist mit dem Torremilanos Cyclo eine herausragende Kreation aus 96% Tempranillo, 3% Garnacha und 1% Albillo entstanden. Im Glas ein dichtes Purpur mit violettem Schimmer. Das Bukett ist herrlich intensiv, mit Noten von schwarzen und blauen Beeren sowie Nuancen von Schokolade, Süßholz und Mokkabohne. Am Gaumen bietet dieser spanische Rotwein ein Aromenspiel, das an Intensität und Vielschichtigkeit schwer zu überbieten ist. Aromen von Brombeeren, Veilchen und Tabak, von schwarzen Beeren und Granatapfel ergeben ein faszinierendes Geschmackserlebnis. Dazu kommen die wunderbar integrierten, seidigen Tannine und der eindrucksvolle Tiefgang dieses Tempranillos aus Nordspanien.

Die Trauben stammen aus einem einzigen Weinberg, der auf einer Höhe von 900 Metern liegt und den Namen Pago Carronda trägt.Triennia de Portia strahlt in einem leuchtenden Kirschrot im Glas und verströmt ein komplexes Bouquet mit reifen, dunklen Früchten, Lakritze, Karamell und Kakao. The Protos 27 Tinto is an anniversary wine. Bodegas Protos is thus celebrating its 90th anniversary. In 1927, 11 winegrowers dared to plant vines in the Ribera del Duero region, which was still considered completely unreal and unsuitable at the time, and found a winery. They called it Bodega Ribera Duero. It was not until 55 years later that the name of the winery was dropped to pave the way for the establishment of the DO Ribera del Duero.
