Der Onix Fusio Priorat DOQ ist ein ausdrucksstarker Rotwein aus der prestigeträchtigen Weinregion Priorat in Katalonien, Spanien. Diese Region ist bekannt für ihre kraftvollen, mineralischen Weine, die aus den charakteristischen Schieferböden, den sogenannten "Llicorella", hervorgehen. Das mediterrane Klima mit heißen Tagen und kühlen Nächten fördert eine langsame Reifung der Trauben und verleiht ihnen eine intensive Aromatik und Struktur.

Der Onix Fusio wird aus einer harmonischen Cuvée von Garnacha (Grenache) und Cariñena (Carignan) hergestellt, den typischen Rebsorten des Priorats. Diese Kombination sorgt für eine perfekte Balance aus Frucht, Würze und Mineralität. Der Wein hat eine tief rubinrote Farbe mit violetten Reflexen. In der Nase entfalten sich komplexe Aromen von reifen schwarzen Früchten wie Brombeeren und Kirschen, begleitet von zarten Eichennoten. Am Gaumen zeigt der Wein eine beeindruckende Struktur mit samtigen Tanninen. Die reifen Fruchtaromen harmonieren perfekt mit den mineralischen und würzigen Nuancen. Der Abgang ist lang und anhaltend mit Noten von Vanille, Pfeffer, schwarzer Kirsche und Gewürznelke.

Bei der Vinícola del Priorat handelt es sich um eine Genossenschaft die im Herzen des Priorats liegt und aus den lokalen Genossenschaften der Dörfer Gratallops, El Lloar, La Vilella Alta und La Vilella Baixa entstanden ist, die bereits 1917 gegründet wurden. 140 Familien mit mehr als 210 Hektar Weinbergen bewirtschaften die Reben in diesen vier Gemeinden. Ein Projekt, das aus der Partnerschaft von Menschen entstand, um sich an neue Zeiten anzupassen und das auf Qualität und Professionalisierung basiert. Vinícola del Priorat ist heute die einzige Genossenschaft in der Region Priorat, die den gesamten Produktionsprozess vom Weinanbau und der Weinherstellung bis zur Vermarktung des Weins verwaltet.
