Rainbow's End Mystical Corner Red Blend

The Rainbow's End Mystical Corner is an expressive red wine cuvée from the Rainbows End Wine Estate family winery in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Vinified with great care and composed of four classic Bordeaux grape varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec - this wine brings the depth and complexity of the terroir to the glass in perfect harmony.

The dark soul of the wine is already evident on the nose: aromas of blackcurrant and dark cherries combine with a hint of damp earth - a fragrance reminiscent of cool forest moss and mineral soils. On the palate, the Mystical Corner impresses with a juicy, dense fruit core that is supported by fine, firm tannins. The structure is present, yet remains accessible.

The grapes are carefully selected and vinified traditionally. Ageing takes place in barriques, with French oak gently supporting the structure of the wine and adding depth.

This elegant Bordeaux blend is an excellent accompaniment to braised lamb, hearty beef dishes or grilled portobello mushrooms. It also goes perfectly with mature hard cheeses such as Comté or Pecorino. Recommended drinking temperature: 16-18°C.

Springfield Life From Stone Sauvignon Blanc
The Life from Stone Sauvignon Blanc from Springfield Estate in Robertson, South Africa, is an impressive example of the region's exceptional minerality. On the estate's extremely stony quartz soils, the vines thrive in challenging conditions, giving the wine its characteristic pebbly, mineral expression. Every step in the vineyard reflects the meticulous handiwork of Springfield Estates: the planting of the older vines required monumental efforts, sometimes even the use of dynamite, to penetrate the hard rock. The vines are planted on a gently south-facing slope with 6060 vines per hectare. The climate is characterized by moderate summers with cool nights and cold winters, while the southeast wind in summer ensures healthy, aromatic grapes. These grapes are harvested at night and immediately protected with dry ice to preserve their freshness and fine aromas. Before bottling, only a 2.5-micron filtration is carried out - a gentle treatment that preserves the natural freshness and complexity of the wine.Intense minerality meets fresh citrus and green apple notes, which are typical of Sauvignon Blanc. On the palate, the white wine has a powerful, concentrated body, fine elegance and a long, lively finish.Perfect with grilled vegetables, goat's cheese, light pasta dishes with herb or lemon sauces and fresh salads. Particularly delicious with seafood such as prawns or scallops. Served at 8-10 °C, the Life from Stone Sauvignon Blanc reveals its full aroma.
