The Rainbows End Cabernet Franc Limited Release is a particularly expressive and elegant red wine that perfectly reflects the personality of this characterful grape variety. The grapes come from carefully selected vineyards of the French clone 312, which is known for its quality and intensity.

On the nose, the wine reveals notes of cedar wood and fresh pomegranate, which are harmoniously complemented by ripe red fruit. On the palate, the Rainbows End Cabernet Franc Limited Release reveals a complex variety of aromas of mulberries, pomegranate and fine fynbos notes, which give the wine an unmistakably South African flavor. The velvety mouthfeel and the long-lasting, multi-layered finish make this wine a special pleasure experience.

For the limited release, the grapes are carefully processed after hand-picking and matured for 12 months in French oak barrels (50% new wood, 25% second fill, 25% third fill). During maturation, the wine is racked twice, which ensures natural clarification and a fine texture. This red wine can be enjoyed now, but will reach its full potential over the next 5 to 8 years.

The finish is long and juicy, with a pleasantly spicy aftertaste.The Syrah (Shiraz) - a blend of Argentinian clone 9 and French clones 174 and 99 - is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The Syrah () was bottled unfiltered and without fining, which emphasizes its natural depth and expressiveness. A small proportion of whole grapes provides additional freshness and mineral notes. The finish is round, long and pleasantly spicy.The wine is made purely from 100% Cabernet Franc. The grapes come from the cooler sites of Walker Bay, where the grape variety ripens optimally thanks to the fresh sea breezes and develops its typical aromas.All the grapes were carefully harvested by hand and fermented with pure yeasts after selection. During the five-day fermentation, the must was pumped over the skins three to five times a day to gently extract color, aromas and tannins. After racking and malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for 12 to 14 months in 225-liter French oak barrels, giving it additional complexity and fine wood notes. Der Thelema The Mint stammt aus der Region Stellenbosch in Südafrika. Der Wein hat eine lange Tradition und gehört bewiesenermaßen zu den besten Cabernet Sauvignons des Landes.Der Ursprung des „Mint“-Charakters wird auf die Luftübertragung von Eukalyptusbäumen, die an diesen speziellen Cabernet Sauvignon Weinberg grenzen, auf die Trauben zurückgeführt. Die äußere Wachsschicht der Beeren adsorbiert Eukalyptol, eine Verbindung, die für das Aroma verantwortlich ist und von den Bäumen an die Luft abgegeben wird. Anschließend löst es sich während des Gärungsprozesses auf den Schalen auf und verleiht dem Wein unweigerlich einen „minzigen“ Charakter, der für diesen Weinberg einzigartig ist. Im Glas zeigt der Wein ein tiefes Dunkelrot. Die Nase ist geprägt von Aromen von reifen roten Beeren, Cassis und dunkler Schokolade. Am Gaumen ergänzt dann ein Hauch von Minze den opulenten Gesamteindruck. Der Wein hat feine Tannine mit einem langen Mokka-Abgang.Durch die Reifung für 18 Monate im Holzfass, wobei 40% neue französische Eiche und 60% ältere Fässer zum Einsatz kamen, erhält der Thelema The Mint Tiefe und Langlebigkeit.
