The Glenwood Vigneron's Selection Shiraz is the product of the only Shiraz parcel of the Glenwood vineyard. Thanks to careful care and ideally balanced growth, the grapes develop even ripeness and an excellent structure, which form the basis for a complex premium wine.

The best grapes are selected, gently pressed and fermented in half-barrel open fermenters, with the mash being punched down by hand three times a day. After fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels and matures for 12 months in 2nd-fill French oak, giving it a harmonious, complex aromatic profile.

Deep ruby red in color, the Shiraz presents an intense bouquet of dark berries and chocolate. On the palate, the Glenwood Vigneron's Selection Shiraz is juicy, full-bodied and multi-layered, with aromas of cassis, blackberries and stewed fruit that linger for a long time.

Enjoy this red wine with grilled or braised beef, lamb or spicy hard cheeses - ideally served at 16-18 °C to fully develop its depth and complexity.

13 Monate verbrachte dieser Rotwein in amerikanischen und französischen Eichenfässern, hauptsächlich zweiter Füllung. Dadurch zeichnen den Wein besonders weiche Tannine aus. Die Farbe leuchtet purpur mit tiefviolettem Rand. In der Nase dominieren pfeffrige Noten, Cassis und Obstkuchen und der Duft von Veilchen. Am Gaumen zeigen sich Aromen von roten Früchten und Gewürzen. Der De Grendel Shiraz ist ein zarter, aber konzentrierter Rotwein von hervorragender Struktur. Im Abgang üppig und saftig.Der Shiraz von De Grendel eignet sich großartig als Solowein, kann aber auch mit Gerichten wie Lammrücken oder gegrilltem Beef Burger mit Cheddar Käse kombiniert werden.
