The Rainbow's End Family Reserve is an exquisite red wine made from only the best 10 to 12 selected barrels year after year. This limited production yields an iconic Bordeaux-style red wine that combines the power and elegance of the best South African vineyards.

In the glass, this blend displays an intense bouquet of dark cherries, black plums and cassis, complemented by subtle herbal notes of sage, mint and thyme. A full-bodied taste experience unfolds on the palate with complex layers of soft spices and deep dark fruit flavors. The long, minty finish with hints of mulberries and the velvety-soft, balanced tannins make this wine particularly harmonious and long-lasting.

Only the best grapes from the top vineyards of the respective vintages are hand-picked for vinification. After careful selection, the wine is matured for 24 months in 12 medium-roasted French barriques, which give the wine its characteristic finesse and complexity. The wine then matures for a further 18 months in the bottle before being released as a limited edition.

The Rainbow's End Family Reserve is a versatile accompaniment to fine meat dishes, such as a juicy roast beef, braised leg of lamb or mature hard cheese. The optimum drinking temperature is 16-18 °C to develop the full aroma and structure of the wine.
