Typical of Primitivo is the pleasant subtle spice. The Vigne Vecchie Primitivo di Manduria has a full-bodied, soft character and offers notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla. It has taken a little longer, but now the successful I Muri series from Vigneto del Salanto, a Fantini Group winery, has been extended to include a rosé. As with the other wines in the series, this is a clearly structured wine made from the Negroamaro grape variety.The Salento peninsula in Apulia, with its perfect sunshine and soils of red earth and clay, produces lush, full-bodied wines. The result is an extraordinary aroma with freshness, flavor and minerality.The medium pink color shines like a summer sunset. The I Muri Puglia Negroamaro Rosato has an intense aroma of strawberry, black cherry and a bouquet of roses. It tastes incredibly fresh and balanced, just like a good summer rose should. The Vigneti del Salento I Muri Rosso is a cuvée consisting of the Sangiovese, Malvesia Nera and Aglianico grape varieties, all cultivated in the Salento region. The I Muri Rosso is proof that a combination of these grape varieties results in a wonderful wine. It is an intense red with a slightly violet shimmer in the glass. The nose is dominated by aromas of red and black fruit. The power of the Apulian sun is very impressive, giving the wine its rich, fruity flavour. The I Muri Rosso is extremely soft and velvety on the palate. Its finish is characterised by a slight sweetness. The wine goes perfectly with antipasti, light starters with meat or soft cheeses.

Vigneti del Salento Zolla Primitivo di Manduria DOP Riserva 2018

Das lange warten hat ein Ende. Nun gibt es auch vom Zolla Primitivo di Manduria einen Riserva. Der Erfolg des Zolla spricht für sich. Das der große Bruder nun endlich marktreif ist wird viele Weinkenner freuen. Die Trauben für diesen Riserva wurden teils überreift geerntet. Das gibt dem trockenen Rotwein eine kraftvolle und intensive Grundstruktur. Die Reifung erfolgte für je 12 Monate in gebrauchten amerikanischen und französischen Fässern und in Zementbehältern. Diese ausgewöhnliche Kombination macht auch den Wein aus Apulien zu einem außergewöhnlichen Geschmackserlebnis.Der Zolla Riserva Primitivo di Manduria leuchtet rubinrot mit leicht violetten Reflexen im Glas. Der italienische Wein duftet herrlich nach Brombeere und schwarzer Johannisbeere. Nach einigen Minuten an der Luft kommen Gewürznoten, Kaffee, Vanille und Karamell hinzu. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Zolla Riserva üppig und voluminös. Die schön geschliffenen Tannine geben Struktur und Komplexität. Vigneti Zabu Chiantari Nero d'Avola DOC 2023

This wonderful Nero d’Avola from the wine-growing region of Sambuca di Sicilia is an intense ruby-red in the glass. The very first impression of the bouquet promises an exceptional taste experience. The wine is very intense on the palate, offering notes of ripe plums and blossom extracts.The Vigneti Zabu Chiantari Nero d’Avola is balanced and warm on the palate, with fine, well-structured tannins, giving the wine elegance and length. Its finish is characterised by light wood aromas and notes of herbs, along with a fine spice. Initially, the destemmed grapes were cooled, and the subsequent maceration lasted about 10-12 days.Subsequently, the wine was fermented in cement tanks and underwent a second malolactic fermentation in wooden casks. Afterwards, the wine was aged in French oak casks for at least 6 months. The Vigneti Zabu Chiantari Nero d’Avola is an ideal accompaniment to red meat or game, particularly wildfowl. It is also an excellent wine to enjoy with friends.

The locals refer to the area where the grapes for the Vignole Chianti Classico DOCG grow as the "Conca d'Oro" - the golden cauldron. It is one of the best vineyards in Tuscany.This cuvée is made from Sangiovese and Merlot. The combination of these two grape varieties guarantees the authentic character of this Chianti. In the glass, it is a bright cherry red. The bouquet is characterized by aromas of red berries and violets. This Chianti tickles the palate with a mixture of berries, plums and black cherries as well as a hint of mint and cinnamon.Serve this red wine at a drinking temperature of 16-18 °C.
