"La Villa" is the name of the historical center of Vezza d'Alba and the vineyards are located in South-Southeast situation closely around the old village.
The calcareous and siliceous terrain and the special microclimate of the Roero area produces a fragrant and elegant wine.

The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance).This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities. For years, Valpolicella has been one of Italy’s most famous wines. Der Vite Colte Barbera d'Asti Superiore Luna e i Falo besteht zu 100% aus der Rebsorte Barbera. Die Rebfläche in der bekannten Weinregion Piemont umfasst 60 Hektar und wird von den Winzern sorgfältig gepflegt. Der Ertrag ist niedrig, aber von hoher Qualität. Ziel des Weinguts Vite Colte ist es einen besseren Wein mit dem besten Gleichgewicht zwischen Struktur und Aroma zu erhalten.Die Weinbereitung erfolgt auf traditionelle Weise mit einer 10-tägigen Mazeration bei einer Temperatur von 20-30 °C, gefolgt von der malolaktischen Gärung. Der Wein reift ca. 12 Monate in Barriques, in denen sich dieser gut strukturierte Barbera weiter verbessert und sich zu einem komplexen und eleganten Wein entwickelt.

In the nose, the Terre da Vite Colte d’Asti San Nicolao is intense and appetizing with marvellous notes of plums and cherries as well as a fine spice. For a Barbera d’Asti, this red wine is surprisingly mild, dry and medium to full-bodied with a wonderfully long finish.This wine from the Piedmont region can be enjoyed now but can age for a few more years if desired. The Barbera grapes for this fine wine come from vineyards in the heart of Asti in the Agliano region close to Rocchetta Tanaro. The Barbera d’Asti San Nicolao has a long fermentation time and ageing period in the bottle, giving the red wine its deep colour.
