This 100% Pinot Bianco from Alto Adige is a creation from the winery Cantina Terlan. It shines golden. On the nose, a complex bouquet with nice ripe fruit notes of melon, white peach, pear and apple. Graphite notes and a spicy woody notes complete the multi-faceted bouquet. On the palate a fine combination of fruity, aromatic and salty notes. A soft wine with a spicy, lingering, mineral finish. The wine was aged for 12 months on the lees in traditional oak barrels.Enjoy the 'Vorberg' Pinot Bianco Riserva DOC to vegetables in cream sauce or fish with white meat. Ideal also in combination with a spicy fish soup or peppery mussels. Also a mature pecorino or Parmesan are the perfect companions.

Terlan Winkl Sauvignon DOC 2024

This Terlan Winkl Sauvignon DOC is one of the traditional wines of the Terlan cooperative in South Tyrol, as Sauvignon Blanc has long been cultivated by the wineries in the region. The single-varietal Sauvignon matures on the fine lees for five to seven months.This white wine pours an intense straw yellow into the glass. It has a fruity aroma of apricots, mandarins and passion fruit. There are also hints of elderflower, nettle and mint. The fine fruitiness also dances on the palate, accompanied by a harmonious and fine acidity. The Sauvignon is well structured and surprises with an aromatic finish.Serve the Terlan Winkl Sauvignon DOC well chilled at a drinking temperature of 10°C-12°C. It is a suitable accompaniment to green and white asparagus, tuna carpaccio or smoked salmon.

Terlaner Classico DOC 2025

The Terlaner is a blend of Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. It is the historical Cuvée produced since the founding of the winery (1893!). The wine sparkles straw yellow with green hues. On the nose it offers notes of green apple and white peach. They are typical of the classic Terlan. Add to that, even subtle nuances of lemon and mint.On the palate, the white wine is invogorating but very soft. He also impresses with its freshness, minerality and great length.The grapes for the wine were picked and selected by hand. Stations of the winemaking-process: slow fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel; storage and ripening for 5-7 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks; finally, the assemblage a month before bottling.At about halfway between the cities of Merano and Bolzano is the wine-village of Terlan. The history of the South Tyrolean Cantina Terlano dates back to 1893. Over this long period Cantina Terlan has built an excellent reputation. The Wine Advocate stated in October 2014: "Cantina Terlano is one of the most prolific wineries in Italy and among the oldest in the region. It offers an outstanding line of wines that embrace multiple styles and philosophies. This Chardonnay from South Tyrol combines notes of meadow flowers and exotic fruits in its bouquet. James Suckling awarded the Tiefenbrunner Merus Chardonnay 90 points and discovered the aroma of crisp pears and apples. On the palate, the dry white wine is slightly spicy and full-bodied, with a good structure. The Chardonnay also impresses with its length, Suckling writes of a "long, harmonious finish".In the glass, the single-varietal Chardonnay is light yellow with greenish reflections. The grapes come from hillside vineyards in Kurtatsch and vineyards at the bottom of the valley in Margreid. "Merus" stands for "pure, unmixed" in Latin. At the top Tiefenbrunner winery, which has been winning over international wine critics for decades, the wine line stands for single-varietal creations whose quality unfolds naturally and authentically. The bouquet of Tiefenbrunner Merus Gewürztraminer is characterized by multi-faceted notes of ripe grapes, honey, candied fruit and oriental spices. There are also nuances of sage and rose petals. Das sortenreine Traubengut dieses Weißburgunders wurde im Betonbehälter vergoren, bevor der Wein vier Monate im Edelstahltank heranreifte. Ganz im Sinne der Namensgebung „Merus“. Diese Wein-Linie des Südtiroler Spitzenweingutes Tiefenbrunner leitet sich vom lateinischen „merus“ ab, das für „rein, unvermischt“ steht. Die Trauben für den Tiefenbrunner Merus Weissburgunder stammen von Hanglagen in Kurtatsch und Lagen in der Talsohle bei Margreid.Genießen Sie diesen Weißburgunder bei einer Trinktemperatur von 10 bis 12 Grad. Er ist ein idealer Begleiter von leichten Vorspeisen, Spargel- und Knödelgerichten oder auch zu Fischvariationen.

Tiefenbrunner Turmhof Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC 2022

Bei der Turmhof-Linie des Spitzenweingutes Tiefenbrunner aus Südtirol handelt es sich um Weißweine, die im Holzfass ausgebaut wurden. Dazu zählt der Tiefenbrunner Turmhof Chardonnay, eine weitere eindrucksvolle Kreation der Winzer-Familie, die in 9. Generation im Besitz ihrer Anbaugebiete ist. Im Bukett dieses Chardonnay vereinen sich exotische Noten von Ananas und Banane. Auch Nuancen von Äpfeln und Vanille sind dabei. Am Gaumen ist dieser Weißwein von Lagen südlich von Margreid und Hanglagen in Kurtatsch kraftvoll, mit einer klaren Struktur und einer merklichen, angenehmen Salzigkeit. Dass beim Ausbau dieses Chardonnay Eichenholz genutzt wurde, ist sehr präsent und verleiht dem Weißwein besondere Eleganz.Der reinsortige Chardonnay wurde für zehn Monate „zu 50% unter regelmäßiger Batonnage im großen Holzfass und zu je 25% auf der feinen Hefe im Betonbehälter bzw. mit biologischem Säureabbau auf der ersten Hefe in Tonneau-Fässern“ ausgebaut, wie das Weingut schreibt. Die Assemblage reifte für zwei weitere Monate im Betonbehälter bevor eine fünfmonatige Flaschenreife erfolgte.
