Der Terre Rosso Puglia IGT ist eine Cuvée aus den Rebsorten Primitivo, Syrah und Malvasia Nera. Durch die Primitivo-Traube erhält dieser Rotwein eine unheimliche Fruchtfülle. Die Nase zeigt viel Sauerkirsche und Johannisbeere, unterstützt von einem Hauch Tabak und Zimt. Am Gaumen finden sich deutliche Röstaromen von einer 14-monatigen Lagerung in neuen und gebrauchten Holzfässern. Der dunkelrote Terre Rosso Puglia schmeckt aromatisch und kraftvoll nach Frucht. Die anteilige Rebsorte Syrah gibt dem Wein eine würzige Note. Der Abgang ist intensiv und langanhaltend.

Das Weingut Terre di Campo Sasso, gehört einem Gemeinschaftsprojekt, bestehend aus einem Önologenteam und regional beheimateter Familienproduktionen. Es liegt in Apulien, in der südöstlichsten Weinregion Italiens.

Durch die unmittelbare Nähe zum Meer herrschen in Apulien salzige Briesen und durch die vielen Sonnenstunden optimale Voraussetzungen für eine naturnahe Bewirtschaftung. Die Ernte wird von ortsansässigen Bauern eingefahren, die über kleine Parzellen verfügen. Zum Teil sind diese Parzellen mit über 50 Jahre alten Reben bestockt.

Terre di Campo Sasso’s Weine, werden aus traditionellen Rebsorten hergestellt, die aus Apulien und zum Teil auch aus dem Anbaugebiet Sizilien stammen. Die apulischen Rebsorten sind von sehr alten Klonen der Sorten Primitivo und Negroamaro. Beigefügt werden dazu, sizilianische Rebsorten, wie Syrah, Grillo und Nero’d Avola.

The Since 1974 Primitivo di Manduria DOP fulfills all the requirements that connoisseurs have for a genuine Primitivo from Apulia. The Italian red wine is deep and intense, with a ripe variety of aromas that it was able to develop during barrel ageing.Even though the Primitivo grape enjoys its Californian fame under the name Zinfandel, the vine is as Italian as it gets. In its country of origin, it displays a mature fullness, as in the Since 1974 Primitivo di Manduria DOP from the Tenute Eméra winery, and is matured for over a year in French oak barrels.The ageing process delights the palate with typical notes of wood, leather and tobacco, which are wonderfully contrasted by the fruit. Das gibt dem trockenen Rotwein eine kraftvolle und intensive Grundstruktur. Die Reifung erfolgte für je 12 Monate in gebrauchten amerikanischen und französischen Fässern und in Zementbehältern. Diese ausgewöhnliche Kombination macht auch den Wein aus Apulien zu einem außergewöhnlichen Geschmackserlebnis.Der Zolla Riserva Primitivo di Manduria leuchtet rubinrot mit leicht violetten Reflexen im Glas.
