The Tignanello Toscana IGT is one of the icons of Italian wine and shows the unique signature of the Antinori winery. This cuvée combines the traditional Sangiovese grape variety with selected international grape varieties, resulting in a complex, powerful yet elegant wine. Every stage, from harvesting to bottling, is monitored with the utmost precision in order to bring out the typical characteristics of this classic wine.

The Tignanello has a deep ruby red color in the glass. Intense aromas of ripe red fruit, undergrowth, cherry and spicy notes of vanilla, leather and subtle tobacco unfold on the nose, already hinting at the wine's complex structure. On the palate, it impresses with dense, juicy fruit flavors, harmonious tannins and a long, elegant finish that perfectly reflects the balance between freshness and maturity.

The wine was matured in French oak barriques, which give the wine additional depth, finesse and fine wood notes without masking the fruit.

The Tignanello Toscana IGT is an ideal accompaniment to sophisticated dishes such as fillet of beef, braised lamb or mature hard cheese, but also unfolds its full grandeur and sophistication on its own - a classic that embodies the essence of Tuscany.

Die Weinbau-Geschichte der Familie Antinori reicht bis ins 14. Jahrhundert. Dieser unnachahmliche Erfahrungsschatz ist eine der Grundlagen für die weltberühmten Weine. Im Standardwerk „Wein“ von André Dominé schreiben Eckhard Supp und Dunja Ulbricht im Kapitel zu Italien über Antinori: „Viel von seinem Prestige verdankt das maßgeblich an der modernen toskanischen Weinbaurevolution beteiligte Traditionshaus seinem ehemaligen Chefönologen Giacomo Tachis, der für so außerordentliche Weine wie Sassicaia, Tignanello (vorwiegend aus Sangiovese), Solaia (vorwiegend aus Cabernet) und viele mehr verantwortlich war.

Die Entstehung und Entwicklung des Villa Antinori wurde von kontinuierlicher Forschung begleitet - mit dem Ziel, einen toskanischen Wein höchster Qualität und Typizität zu kreieren.

Der Villa Antinori ist demzufolge das Ergebnis einer sorgfältigen Auswahl des besten Antinori-eigenen Traubengutes aus der Toskana: Ausschließlich auf den Antinori-Weingütern gepflanzte, gewachsene, gereifte und geerntete Trauben werden in den Antinori- Kellern vergoren.
