Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen schimmert der Batasiolo Barbera d’Alba im Glas. Der Rotwein aus dem Piemont duftet herrlich anregend nach Pflaumen und Kirschen. Dazu bereichern florale Noten das Bukett (Veilchen und Rosen). Hintergründige, würzige Noten komplettieren den Duftstrauß.Am Gaumen ist der Rotwein aus dem Piemont vollmundig und trocken, mit einer angenehm milden Säure, viel Fruchtigkeit (süßliche, schwarze Früchte), Nuancen von Schokolade und einer tollen Frische. Das Finale ist angenehm weich.   Die Trauben für den Batasiolo Barbera D'Alba werden in Edelstahltanks vergoren. Etwa 40 Prozent des Weines reifte für ein Jahr in Barriques aus französischer Eiche heran, der übrige Teil in großen Holzfässern aus slawonischer Eiche. Nach der Vermählung des Weins ruht er noch für gut zwei Monate im Edelstahltank.

Am Gaumen ist die rubinrot schimmernde Kreation aus dem Piemont voll und rund, mit einer sehr guten Balance von delikaten Tanninen und angenehmer Säure. Seine tolle Frische, die gute Struktur und die schöne, fruchtbetonende Länge runden das Geschmackserlebnis ab, das im Finale auch nach Mandeln schmeckt und leicht bitter ist.Der reinsortige Dolcetto wurde bewusst nicht im Eichenholz ausgebaut, um die typischen Aromen der italienischen Rebsorte voll und „unverfälscht“ zur Geltung zu bringen. Die Familie Dogliani, die seit 1978 Weinbau auf ihren herausragenden Lagen, den „Beni di Batasiolo” im Piemont betreibt, zeigt auch hier ihre Weinbaukunst. Die Trauben für den Batasiolo Dolcetto d’Alba stammen von Hügeln rund um die Stadt Alba, auf der rechten Seite des Flusses Tanaro.

Dort entfaltet der tiefviolette Wein einen vollmundigen und finessenreichen Geschmack, der lange bleibt. Die Tannine sind präsent, dabei aber seidig und fein umschlossen von der süßlichen Frucht des Weins.Der Braida Montebruna Barbera wird zu 100 % aus der Barbera-Traube hergestellt und stammt aus der Topweinlage „Montebruna Cru“ im Piemont. Die Trinktemperatur für diesen klassischen Wein beträgt idealerweise 15-17 °C.Er ist ein idealer Wein für den Alltag und begleitet exzellent italienische Gerichte wie Risotto und Pasta. Im Südosten des Piemont ist die Heimat des Gavi. Dieser herrlich animierende, mineralische Weißwein aus der autochthonen Rebsorte Cortese zählt schon lange zu den Aushängeschildern des italienischen Weinbaus. Der Bruno Broglia Gavi di Gavi hat seinen Anteil daran. Blassgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen schimmert der Gavi im Glas. Das Bouquet des Bruno Broglia Gavi di Gavi ist intensiv fruchtig. James Suckling vergibt 90 Punkte für den italienischen Weißwein und schreibt von Noten von Zitrone und Honig, geschnittener Papaya und Ananas. Dazu kommen Nuancen von Wildblumen, auch von Nuss und Holunder. Am Gaumen ist der Wein trocken und elegant, mit mittlerem Körper und einer samtigen Textur. Das Aromenspiel ist eindrucksvoll. Aromen von pinker Grapefruit, Mandeln und gebackenem Apfel im feinen Zusammenspiel mit einer tollen Würze. Dazu kommen die feine Säure und mineralische Feuerstein-Noten. Das Finale hallt noch lange nach.Ertragsarme Reben, die zum Teil deutlich älter als 50 Jahre alt sind, bilden die Grundlage für den Bruno Broglia Gavi di Gavi. Die Trauben aus der Gemeinde Gavi stammen von Südlagen mit kalkhaltigen, marmorierten Untergründen und werden akribisch von Hand gelesen. Der Weißwein wird im Edelstahltank ausgebaut.

The Vajra Barbera d'Alba DOC is an expressive red wine from Piedmont. It comes from the high-altitude vineyards of the traditional G.D. Vajra winery, which has been a pioneer in organic viticulture since the 1970s. The grapes for this wine grow on different, sustainably cultivated terroirs - a diversity that gives the wine depth and complexity.Vinification is carried out with great care: the hand-picked Barbera grapes are fermented parcel by parcel, with long maceration times of up to 28 days. Traditional methods such as the "submerged cap" process are used to gently extract the fine aromas from the grape skins. The wine is then matured for around five months in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh, fruity style and to bring out the typical varietal notes perfectly.In the glass, the Vajra Barbera d'Alba is a bright purple red. An intense aroma of red berries, fresh plums and floral hints of roses unfolds on the nose. It is juicy and lively on the palate, with notes of sweet cherry, dark berries and a hint of spice. The structure is harmonious, the fruit clearly defined, the finish elegant and aromatic - a typical representative of the Barbera grape variety, both accessible and complex.This Barbera is a versatile accompaniment to food. It goes particularly well with hearty Italian dishes such as pasta with salsiccia, lasagne, grilled vegetables or mature pecorino. It also unfolds its full potential with game birds or roasted veal. The ideal drinking temperature is 16-18 °C.

The Vajra Barolo Albe DOCG is a stylish homage to the traditional Barolo style and the great masters ("maestri") of this world-famous wine region. The cuvée comes from high-altitude vineyards in the heart of Piedmont - sites located at 380 to 480 meters above sea level and with their different exposures (south-east to south-west) bring impressive complexity to the wine. The name "Albe" (plural of alba, Italian for "dawn") refers to the three sunrises that can be experienced there - a symbol of light, diversity and depth.The G.D. Vajra winery is one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in the Barolo region. Aldo Vajra switched to sustainable and organic farming back in 1971 - long before it became a trend. The vineyards are kept healthy in a natural way through greening and natural biodiversity. Intensive manual work, continuous research and the deliberate avoidance of standardized cellar techniques make Barolo Albe an authentic and lively wine.The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and selected three times - directly on the vine, as whole bunches and again as individual berries. Vinification is traditional, with long maceration periods of 30 to 61 days in specially designed vertical fermentation tanks. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and 24 months of ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels give the wine structure, balance and longevity. Bottling only takes place after an extended ageing period to ensure maximum expressiveness.In the glass, the Vajra Barolo Albe is a clear garnet red with a bright core. The nose is dominated by fresh floral notes - rose petals, violets - accompanied by typical Nebbiolo aromas and fine balsamic nuances. On the palate, the wine is lively, precise and energetic, with elegant tannins and aromas of bright red fruits, ripe cherries and delicate spice. A Barolo that is already accessible when young, but also has great ageing potential.Barolo Albe is an excellent accompaniment to braised beef, game dishes, truffle pasta or strong mushroom risottos. It also unfolds its full elegance with mature hard cheese or roast lamb.Enjoy it at a drinking temperature of around 18 °C to allow its aromatic depth and fine structure to develop to the full.
