Nina Pecorino Terre d'Abruzzo IGT

The Nina Pecorino Terre d'Abruzzo IGT is made from the indigenous Pecorino grape variety, one of the most exciting traditional white varieties of Abruzzo. The variety is known for its pronounced freshness, aromatic intensity, and distinctive minerality, which make it a characterful representative of central Italy.

The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently processed to preserve the variety’s characteristic aromas and natural freshness. Temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, allowing the clear fruit flavors and lively acidity to take center stage. The wine is then aged on its fine lees for a period of time, which lends it additional body and complexity.

On the nose, the wine is fresh and inviting, with aromas of citrus, white peach, pear, and green apples, accompanied by floral nuances and a subtle herbal spice. On the palate, it is lively and balanced, with juicy fruit, invigorating acidity, and subtle mineral notes. The finish is fresh, clean, and pleasantly lingering.

It pairs excellently with fish dishes, seafood, antipasti, Mediterranean salads, white poultry, and fresh goat and sheep cheeses. This Pecorino also makes a compelling aperitif thanks to its fresh and unpretentious character.
