Dry, black and gray slate forms the basis of this dry Riesling from the windery Dönnhoff in Rhineland-Palatinate. This full-bodied Riesling has a fine minerality, is wonderfully fruity and offers a wonderful acidity.Especially the slopes of the vineyard called Leistenberg, located in a small valley of the Nahe near Oberhausen are marked by slate-soils. This is where most characterful Rieslings grow, which bear the name of the special soil.The Tonschiefer Dönnhoff Riesling comes from vines that are between 25 and 30 years old. The grapes were harvested to 100% by hand. The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks and large oak casks, which explains the beautiful complexity of this white wine.

Dieser trockene Weißwein stammt aus der Anbauregion Nahe und weist durch den roten Sandsteinboden eine steinig-mineralische Note auf. Vervollständigt wird das einzigartige Aroma des Roxheimer Höllenpfad Rieslings durch rote Früchte, wie Johannisbeere und Pflaume. Sein Bouquet wird von einer leichten Pfirsichnote unterstützt und bietet dem Gaumen ein fruchtiges und komplexes Geschmackserlebnis.Das Weingut Dönnhoff verfügt über Weinberge in den besten Lagen. Dazu gehören Hermannshöhle, Dellchen und der Felsenberg. Durch diese hervorragenden Positionierungen erhalten die Reben bereits einen intensiven Geschmack. Das Alter der Reben aus erster Lage beträgt 10-40 Jahre. Der Dönnhoff Weißburgunder stammt aus der Region Nahe, in Deutschland. Etwa vier Monate reifte er im großen Holzfass aus deutscher Eiche. Die per Hand selektierten Trauben stammen von Reben, die zwischen 20 und 30 Jahre alt sind, gewachsen in den Hanglagen der Mittleren Nahe auf vulkanischem Verwitterungsboden und Lößlehm.Im Bouquet des Weißweins finden sich Aromen von Birne und Apfel.
