The Landerer Insider Cuvée Rot is a wonderful red wine from Baden that is perfect for immersing yourself in the wine world of this award-winning winery on the Kaiserstuhl. Johannes Landerer has stood for innovative and high-quality viticulture for several years, and his red wines, white wines and rosé wines leave an impression on connoisseurs.

The Landerer Insider Cuvée Rot is a creation of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. The latter grape variety in particular shows exceptional qualities in the Kaiserstuhl, the warmest region in Germany with vineyards characterized by volcanic rock.

The red wine has a fascinatingly complex aroma of dark fruits such as cherries and blackcurrants. There is also a great spiciness, fine roasted aromas and nuances of nougat chocolate that round off the bouquet.

On the palate, this dry red wine from the Kaiserstuhl is powerful and dense, with beautifully integrated, soft tannins and a noticeable spiciness. "A balanced red wine with a Mediterranean style", writes the Landerer winery itself. The finish is again fascinatingly fruity, with aromas of cherries, redcurrants and blackberries.

This cuvée was aged for 12 months in barriques, with 30% new barrels and 70% second and third-fill barrels. After the final assemblage, the Landerer Insider Cuvée Rot matures for a further three months in large wooden barrels.

The bouquet is fascinatingly complex and fruity-floral: notes of raspberry, strawberry and cassis, plus orange. Nuances of rose petals and sage round off the bouquet.On the palate, the Landerer Saignee Rosé is dry, lively and fresh, with stimulating aromas of honey, orange and raspberry, as well as fine herbal notes. The rosé from the Kaiserstuhl has great harmony, the sweetness-acidity interplay is simply fun. An uncomplicated rosé for moments when you want to unwind.Johannes Landerer and his excellent team have produced this rosé using the Saignée method. Saignée means, translated from French, bleeding or bloodletting. Basically, Saignée rosé is a by-product of red wine production: the red grapes are crushed as usual. Die Manz Faszination Cuvée M ist in vielerlei Hinsicht eine außergewöhnliche Komposition. Schon die Zusammensetzung dieser Cuvée aus Rheinhessen ist eine Rarität. Denn neben Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) und Cabernet Sauvignon ist die Rebsorte Cabernet Dorsa das dritte Element dieser Assemblage. Die in Deutschland gezüchtete Rotweinsorte entstand aus einer Kreuzung der Sorten Blaufränkisch und Dornfelder und hat noch keine allzu große Verbreitung.Das Bouquet der Manz Faszination Cuvée M ist faszinierend facettenreich. Der Duft von Brombeeren, Schwarzen Johannisbeeren und Heidelbeeren wird untermalt von Nuancen von Sauerkirsche. Und damit noch lange nicht genug. Das kleine Fest für die Sinne beginnt erst. Auch Noten von Minze, Eukalyptus, etwas grüne Paprika und Pfeffer bereichern den Duftstrauß. Und schließlich, durch die lange Reifung im Barrique, getoastetes Holz und Zigarrenkiste.
