Landerer Grauburgunder vom Löss dry

The Landerer Kaiserstuhl Grauburgunder vom Löss dry is a great example of this. Pinot Gris from the Kaiserstuhl: always a revelation. Germany's warmest region, northwest of Freiburg in Breisgrau, is characterized by volcanic rock and is therefore the ideal location for highly aromatic white wines.

The Landerer Grauburgunder vom Löss dry has a wonderfully cool, fresh aroma of pome fruit, especially crunchy apples. There are also notes of almonds and fine floral nuances on the nose. On the palate, this white wine from Baden is dry and full-bodied, aromatically juicy, with beautiful minerality and spice. The notes from the bouquet also characterize the aromas on the palate.

The Pinot Gris from the Kaiserstuhl was matured in stainless steel tanks. The winery itself describes the "fermentation stop through strong cooling", so that the fruit sweetness is retained. The white wine was aged for several months in steel tanks on the fine lees.

Johannes Landerer and his team run the Landerer winery in Vogtsburg am Kaiserstuhl. The outstanding white and red wines have received numerous awards from renowned magazines in recent years.

The Landerer Grauburgunder vom Löss trocken is a good starting point for discovering the world of Landerer wines. Try this German white wine at a drinking temperature of 8 to 10 degrees. The light straw-yellow Pinot Gris is a good accompaniment to fish dishes and white meat, but is also an excellent choice as an aperitif.

Dr. Koehler Kaisermantel Grauburgunder QbA trocken

Landerer Oberrotweiler Sauvignon Blanc trocken

A wonderfully light-hearted rosé from Baden: The Landerer Saignee Rosé is a creation of Pinot Noir, the grape variety that shows exceptional qualities in the Kaiserstuhl region, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The bouquet is fascinatingly complex and fruity-floral: notes of raspberry, strawberry and cassis, plus orange. Nuances of rose petals and sage round off the bouquet. On the palate, the Landerer Saignee Rosé is dry, lively and fresh, with stimulating aromas of honey, orange and raspberry, as well as fine herbal notes. The rosé from the Kaiserstuhl has great harmony, the sweetness-acidity interplay is simply fun. An uncomplicated rosé for moments when you want to unwind.Johannes Landerer and his excellent team have produced this rosé using the Saignée method. Saignée means, translated from French, bleeding or bloodletting. Basically, Saignée rosé is a by-product of red wine production: the red grapes are crushed as usual. Before the fermentation of the must begins, the vat is "bled", i.e. a small proportion of the must is drawn off to produce the rosé.Enjoy this German rosé at a drinking temperature of 7 to 9 degrees. The cherry-pink sparkling wine, matured in stainless steel tanks, is an impressive aperitif. But the Landerer Saignee Rosé is also a very good choice as an accompaniment to grilled fish or Mediterranean starters.
