The bouquet of the Landerer Kaiserstuhl Weißburgunder vom Löss is animatingly aromatic and fresh. It combines notes of crisp, fresh pome fruit, especially apples and pears, with fine herbal tones and some yellow plum.
This Pinot Blanc from Baden is dry and pleasantly soft on the palate. The German white wine from Johannes Landerer and his team is also wonderfully fresh and juicy, with a fine minerality and nuanced sweetness and a varied fruity finish.
The Pinot Blanc shimmers light yellow in the glass, with greenish reflections. In volcanic locations such as the Kaiserstuhl, Germany's warmest region, there are white limestone inclusions and fertile loess soils. Loess often stands for full-bodied, rather powerful wines.
The Landerer Kaiserstuhl Pinot Blanc was matured in stainless steel tanks. The fermentation was stopped by strong cooling, so that the wine's own fruity sweetness was retained and it was stored on the fine lees for several months.
Discover this Baden white wine at a drinking temperature of 7 to 9 degrees. It is an ideal aperitif, but also a very good choice with fish dishes or asparagus.
