MONTES ALPHA"M" is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. A powerful wine with very good level of soft and rounded tannins. Intense dark red colour. The wine is elegant and has a very well defined character. The 5% of Petit Verdot is adding an extra element of complexity. There is an pleasant and harmonious marriage of fruit and the French oak. The structure of this wine will keep it for at least 20 years. On the palate, it is perfectly balanced, full-bodied and superbly voluptuous on the mid-palate with a rewarding, lingering after taste of mature grapes and acidity that reflects its superb structure.MONTES ALPHA "M" can be enjoyed now or cellared for several years (it will continue to improve in the bottle for at least 20 years).

Montes Alpha Malbec 2022

The Montes Alpha Malbec comes from the vineyards of Apalta and Marchigüe in the Colchagua Valley, Chile. The granite soils with varying degrees of water retention capacity and the combination of fluvial and alluvial material give the wine balance and depth. Grapes from both regions are used equally for the Montes Alpha Malbec.The grapes are harvested by hand, carefully selected and destemmed. After maceration, controlled fermentation with selected yeasts takes place over 7-10 days. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures for 12 months in French oak barrels (50% new) before the final blending.Deep carmine red with violet reflections. The nose reveals ripe fruit such as raspberries, blueberries, dried plums and black cherries, complemented by subtle notes of leather, smoke, vanilla and toasted wood. Velvety and balanced on the palate with a long, harmonious finish.The Montes Alpha Malbec is an excellent accompaniment to red and white meat, especially grilled pork or chicken with barbecue sauce, but also to stew, chili con carne or Mexican mole. Serving temperature: 17-19 °C. It is recommended to decant it approx. 30 minutes before serving so that it can develop its aromas optimally.

The Montes Alpha Pinot Noir from the Montes winery comes from the cool coastal vineyards of Aconcagua Costa, where gentle hills and fresh sea air allow the grapes to ripen slowly and in balance. The wine impresses with a harmonious combination of fruity freshness and fine structure.The grapes are harvested by hand in the morning and gently processed to preserve their fresh aromas. Part of the red wine matures for 10 months in French oak barriques, creating subtle notes of vanilla and crème brûlée, while the rest remains in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness.Bright ruby red, aromas of raspberries, blackberries and blueberries, complemented by ripe plums - this is the aroma of the Montes Alpha Pinot Noir. On the palate, it is soft, balanced and persistent, with a harmonious combination of fruity lightness and fine wood notes.This Montes Alpha Pinot Noir is an excellent accompaniment to pasta al pesto, creamy soups, veal chops, salmon or mushroom risotto, should be decanted for around 30 minutes before serving and is best enjoyed at a drinking temperature of 14 to 15 °C.

Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

The Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon from the Colchagua Valley is a characterful red wine of international stature. It is produced on the Marchigüe estate, where the Cabernet Sauvignon vines thrive on stony, clayey soils with optimal water retention. The cuvée is complemented by small proportions of Syrah and Carmenère, which grow on the slopes and lend the wine additional depth and elegance.The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand and carefully selected. After gentle destemming, fermentation takes place over 7 to 10 days before malolactic fermentation is carried out in concrete and stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures for 16 months in French oak, 60% of which is new wood - an ageing process that lends structure and complexity without masking the fruit.In the glass, the Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep ruby red. On the nose, it develops an intense aroma of ripe plums, dark cherries and dried figs, complemented by spicy notes of black pepper, graphite, dark chocolate, leather and a hint of mocha. It impresses on the palate with great volume, a powerful structure and a harmonious balance of fruit, spice and wood. The long, elegant finish rounds off the experience.The Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent accompaniment to hearty meat dishes such as beef steaks, lamb chops with Cabernet jus, game dishes or pasta with spicy Bolognese. It is also an excellent accompaniment to mature hard cheeses. Enjoy at 17-19 °C and decant for at least 30 minutes before drinking to allow its full spectrum of aromas to develop.

Montes Alpha Syrah 2022

The Montes Alpha Syrah from the Vina Montes winery comes from Chile, from the Colchagua Valley region to be precise. This wine is particularly balanced and smooth.The dry red wine presents itself in an elegant red color with black-purple reflections. On the nose, the Syrah smells of black cherries, ripe plums and red fruits such as strawberries. Slightly smoky, sweet tobacco notes suggest elegance. In the glass, it shimmers with a beautiful, intensely luminous ruby red. Among them is this elegant cuvée from the Apalta Valley, which was originally intended to be a single-varietal Carmenère.
