The RedHeads King of Barossa Shiraz is a powerful red wine from the renowned Barossa Valley in Australia, a region known for its outstanding Shiraz wines. The RedHeads winery began as a small, rebellious winegrowing community that created exceptional wines in small batches - far removed from mass production.In the glass, this Shiraz presents itself in a deep dark red. The bouquet is dominated by intense aromas of dark berries such as blackberries and blackcurrants, complemented by notes of ripe plums, black pepper, eucalyptus and a hint of toast. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich with soft tannins, accompanied by spicy pepper and meaty notes. The wood maturation gives the wine additional complexity with hints of vanilla and toast.The grapes come from old vines, which ensure low yields but the highest quality. The vineyards are located directly next to those of the famous Torbrecks winery. After careful harvesting, they are gently processed and the wine ferments traditionally in open fermenters.
