Der „Y Series Shiraz-Viognier“ ist ein hervorragender Rotwein aus dem Weingut Yalumba in Australien. Die Besonderheit dieses Weines liegt in seiner Kombination aus den beiden Traubensorten Shiraz und Viognier, die zu einem komplexen Aromenspektrum und einem einzigartigen Geschmackserlebnis führen.

In der Nase präsentiert sich der „Y Series Shiraz-Viognier“ mit einem reichen und komplexen Aromenspektrum, das von dunklen Früchten wie Brombeeren, schwarzen Kirschen und Pflaumen dominiert wird. Dazu gesellen sich Noten von Veilchen, Gewürzen und einem Hauch von Eichenholz.

Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Wein vollmundig und ausgewogen, mit einer feinen Balance aus Tanninen und Säure. Die Aromen von dunklen Früchten setzen sich fort und werden von Noten von Schokolade, Kaffee und Gewürzen wie schwarzem Pfeffer begleitet. Die Zugabe von Viognier-Trauben verleiht dem Wein eine blumige Note, die den Geschmack abrundet.
