The Langmeil Three Gardens GSM is a red wine cuvée full of character from the Barossa Valley in South Australia.The old Barossa winegrower referred to his vineyard as the "garden". The three gardens in Nuriootpa, Lyndoch and Seppeltsfield produce a fine red blend with a distinct Barossa style and complementary character. The blend of Shiraz, Grenchen and Mataro, with small proportions of Carignan and Counoise, shows good balance and integrated medium-bodied structure. The blend is characterized by full, ripe fruit, supported by firm but fine tannins, aromas of cherries and blackberries, with a hint of mocha and spice. Despite its complexity, this red wine remains wonderfully accessible and easy to drink.The Langmeil 'Three Gardens' Shiraz Mataro Grenache is an excellent accompaniment to rich pasta dishes with tomato, lamb dishes and spicy stews.

Der reinsortige Langmeil Pure Eden Shiraz stammt von Rebstöcken, die vor 150 Jahren im australischen Eden Valley gepflanzt wurden. Das Terroir in diesem Gebiet zeichnet sich durch zersetztem Stein, Lehm, Granit und eisenhaltigem Gestein aus. Die Familie Lindner des Weinguts Langmeil engagiert sich für Qualität in allen Aspekten. Jeder Wein, der den Namen Langmeil trägt, steht für das Streben der Familie nach Spitzenleistungen in Wein und Gemeinschaft.Nach der Gärung reift der Wein 23 Monate auf der Eiche. Davon wird 1/3 in neuen französischen und der Rest in gebrauchten Eichenfässern ausgebaut.Im Glas zeigt sich der hervorragende Rotwein in einem mittleren bis tiefroten Karminrot mit violetten Reflexen. Ein verführerisches Bouquet von roten und blauen Früchten erhebt sich aus dem Glas, gepaart mit würzigen Kräutern und Anklängen an schwarze Oliven, Zedernholz, Erde und weißen Pfeffer. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich ein mittel- bis vollmundiger Wein mit saftigen Satsuma-Pflaumen und Himbeeren, mit viel saftigen Tanninen, die dem Wein Struktur und Textur verleihen. The Langmeil Steadfast Shiraz / Cabernet combines two of Australia's most important grape varieties in a powerful yet balanced cuvée. Originating from the renowned Barossa Valley, this red wine combines the depth of Shiraz and the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon in an ideal way.In the glass, the wine is deep red with violet reflections. Intense aromas of dark berries, black cherries, spices and a hint of oak unfold on the nose. Later, it shows notes of liquorice and fine nuances of vanilla.This wine is medium-bodied and rich in taste, showing juicy aromas of plums, cherries and berries, which mingle with notes of dark chocolate, mocha and spices.The wine matured for 12 months in repeatedly used American oak casks.The Penfolds Bin 28 is a prime example of Australian Shiraz wines, made of grapes which ripened at a pleasant warmth. It is robust and offers opulent, juicy aromas, without showing dominant notes of new oak or an excessive alcohol content. This Shiraz was produced for the first time in 1962 and owed its name ‘Kalimna’ to the renowned vineyard located in the Barossa Valley. Penfolds acquired this vineyard in 1945, from whose grapes the wine was initially solely made.Today, the Bin 28 is a real Penfolds - a multi-regional and multi-vineyard blend, which means that this wine is made from vines from different regions and vineyards. It shows clearly defined, ripe fruit in its youth, concentration and significant fruit sweetness, with minimal wood influence.

Penfolds Father Grand Tawny 10 Years

With regard to the production process and the type of wine, the Penfolds Father Grand Tawny is similar to a port wine, though it is not allowed to bear the protected term ‘port’. However, this does not diminish the wine’s quality and characteristics - on the contrary, Penfolds, Australia’s most famous winery, has produced a genuine delight. The different base wines are at least 10 years old. Wines of an average of 15 different vintages unite to create the Penfolds Father Grand Tawny, thus ensuring that the nuances of each vintage produce a concentrated Tawny. The base wine is traditionally enriched with specially distilled alcohol containing between 78 and 85 of alcohol by volume, simultaneously increasing both the Tawny’s alcohol content and its complexity. In the glass, the Father Grand Tawny is a light brown of medium intensity with hints of yellow and green at the rim. On the nose, it offers wonderful notes of oak, chocolate, plums and roasted nuts, complemented by nuances of cloves and anise. On the palate, the Tawny shows its full power and elegance, offering sweet notes of fruitcake and concentrated wood aromas. Its finish is wonderfully balanced, fresh and long-lasting.The Penfolds Father Grand Tawny 10 Years is lovely on its own as an aperitif and goes beautifully with sweet desserts.
